This whole thing about the Gospel, salvation, eternity, Heaven and Hell is not a very hard thing to understand at all. It will however become cloudy and foggy when the ministers in the pulpit willingly hold back the most vital truths, simply to advance their own cause. We are living in a day of great apostasy, and many stand in their mega church pulpits using the name of Jesus Christ, while also creating a wonderful business that provides great wealth for themselves, and other family members and friends. Satan is very clever in the way that he works, and he certainly does play for keeps. So I write here today once again, simply trying to be a light in the darkness. I am sounding the “foghorn” in the midst of the religious smokescreens, that are thrown up daily by the modern day “ministers” of God.
1] To Enter The Kingdom Of God You Must Be Born Again
There it is ladies and gentlemen. You must be born again of the Spirit in order to enter the Kingdom of God. Jesus came to this earth from above and he told that to a Jewish ruler named Nicodemus. Jesus did not pull any punches either, and he got right to the point with this man who was ruling over people. Jesus was not impressed with the spirituality of this man, but he was concerned with his very soul. The man Nicodemus needed to be saved, and Jesus let him know that!
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be BORN AGAIN, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? (John 3:3-4)
Nicodemus had no idea what Jesus was talking about here, and Jesus was well aware of that fact. There are literally billions of people throughout the world, including millions who sit in churches who have never been born again of the Spirit of God. It is the responsibility of the Pastor, to preach the necessity of the new birth to the people. John Wesley was near the end of his life, and he was asked why he constantly preached about being born again, and he responded, “because you must be born again.”
Every person in the world, has been “born of the flesh”, which simply means that they have been physically born into this world. That physical birth will not bring you into Heaven though. Is that not enough to stir your own soul? Is that not enough to make you wonder if you have experienced the new birth? Are YOU a new creation in Jesus Christ yet? (2 Corinthians 5:17) Are YOU still in the devil’s kingdom of darkness? Listen to Jesus again as he preaches to the Jewish ruler Nicodemus:
That which is born of the FLESH is FLESH; and that which is born of the SPIRIT is SPIRIT. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye MUST be BORN AGAIN. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is BORN of the SPIRIT. (John 3:6-8)
There you have it from the creator of all things himself. Do not marvel if the creator tells the world (all included) that they need to be born again of the Spirit.
Now this I say, brethren, that FLESH and blood CANNOT inherit the KINGDOM of GOD; neither doth CORRUPTION inherit INCORRUPTION. (1 Corinthians 15:50)
There you have it folks. That human body of flesh and blood will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Flesh gives birth to flesh, and Spirit gives birth to spirit! The next time you attend a funeral or a wake, keep that in mind. The person in the coffin was either saved, or they were lost. Do not listen to the “hirelings (hired hands) (John 10:12-13) who come into the funeral parlour, or Church, and tell you that the person in the coffin is “at peace,” and in a “better place,” if they NEVER knew the Lord Jesus Christ! There is no amount of prayer that will ever bring that person into Heaven, and they are not hanging out in a Roman Catholic purgatory either. They will not be reincarnated again, and return to live another life. No, they were either saved or lost. They are either in Heaven or Hell, and don’t you forget that!
2] Are You On Hell’s Waiting List?
Did you know that the wrath of God is already abiding upon you, if you do not believe in Jesus Christ? Is YOUR name on the waiting list for Hell? Here are three scripture passages to help you find the answer to that question. The first one here is from John, one of the original hand picked apostles of Jesus Christ:
He that believeth on the Son hath EVERLASTING LIFE: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the WRATH of GOD abideth on him. (John 3:36)
Folks this verse should be a wake up call to every human being on planet earth! The Bible clearly tells us that God’s wrath is upon those who do not believe in Jesus Christ! If your Pastor disagrees with that verse of scripture run for your spiritual life, and that of your family! If your Pastor beats around the bush, run for your spiritual life, and that of your family! If your pastor joins hands with false religious systems, or beats around the bush when you inquire why he does, make a run for it, and save yourself from destruction!
Here is the second passage of scripture from the mouth of Jesus Christ himself:
He that believeth on him is NOT CONDEMNED: but he that believeth not is CONDEMNED ALREADY, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:18)
Jesus declared that a person was already condemned if they did not believe in him. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Christianity 101, and yet you hardly ever hear the modern day preachers give the clarion call of salvation this way to both Jewish and Gentile. We are living in a day where many mega church Pastors fly around the country in their personal Lear Jets, and return to their multi-million dollar homes after being “wined and dined” around the world by fellow members of the “Bless Me Club.” They are often hailed as “great men of God.” People used to use the words, “They got some racket” to describe people like them!
And he said unto them, Go ye into ALL the world, and PREACH THE GOSPEL to every creature. He that BELIEVETH and is baptized shall be SAVED; but he that BELIEVETH NOT shall be DAMNED. (Mark 16:15-16)
Jesus spoke these words AFTER he rose up from the dead! That should get the attention of everybody, because it shows us that Jesus was a man of his word. Jesus knew he would be killed, and Jesus knew he would be raised from the dead also. (Matthew 16:21, 17:22-23, Mark 9:31, 10:33-34, Acts 10:38-40) His prophecies came TRUE, not like the tons of “modern day” prophets and “watchmen” who prophesy events that never come to pass! Those same “prophets” and “watchmen” still fill their collection buckets, and ultimately their own wallets, by simply pushing back the “goalposts” of their unfulfilled prophecies! They are ultimately running a “nice business” (check out their digs sometime) while “getting over” on many precious Christians! They do some fancy footwork, and they realize that they must still use the name Jesus Christ, but ultimately the Almighty dollar rules their hearts!
The real Jesus declared that the believers would be SAVED, and the unbelievers would be DAMNED! Preach that regularly in the churches, and hold back nothing! That message applies to ALL mankind, including every Jewish person and every Gentile person in the entire world, or Jesus Christ is a LIAR!
3] Eternal Life Is Found Only In Jesus Christ
Another passage of scripture that is ever so clear is the following:
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us ETERNAL LIFE, and THIS LIFE is IN HIS SON. He that HATH the SON HATH LIFE; and he that HATH NOT the SON of GOD HATH NOT LIFE. (1 John 5:10-12)
The very same hand picked apostle John wrote those words above. it is very simple. If you are a believer then you have eternal life. In other words the Spirit of the living God dwells in your heart. If you do not believe then YOU make God a liar. That too is very simple to understand. The person without Jesus Christ will die in their sins, should they refuse to repent and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (Mark 1:15, Luke 24:47) That includes both Jewish and Gentile people all over the world. Jesus told the unbelievers that they would die in their sins without him.
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall DIE IN YOUR SINS: for if ye BELIEVE NOT that I AM he, ye shall DIE IN YOUR SINS. (John 8:24)
The Lord Jesus Christ rebuked the religious Jews of his day, and the words which he spoke to them still stand true for the religious Jews in our day, and anyone else who chooses to reject the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he HATH SENT, him YE BELIEVE NOT. Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have ETERNAL LIFE: and they are they which TESTIFY of ME. And ye will not COME TO ME, that ye might HAVE LIFE. (John 5:37-40)
The Lord Jesus Christ did not “fudge the truth” of the gospel to please men, because he knew what was at stake. The Lord knew that the UNSAVED would spend an eternity in a very real place called HELL, and that is why he never played “religious games” with the souls of men and women. The Lord was constantly finding himself in confrontations with the unbelieving Jewish religious leaders who claimed Abraham as their spiritual father, and God as their father also. The Lord told them that they would have LOVED HIM if God were their father, because GOD is the one who SENT Jesus Christ (Messiah) to save their souls! The words below still apply to ALL people in the world who reject Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour!
They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have ONE FATHER, even GOD. Jesus said unto them, If GOD were YOUR FATHER, ye would LOVE ME: for I proceeded forth and came from GOD; neither came I of myself, but HE SENT ME. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of YOUR FATHER the DEVIL, and the lusts of YOUR FATHER ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is NO TRUTH IN HIM. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for HE IS A LIAR, and the FATHER of it. (John 8:39-44)
When a person rejects Jesus Christ, they are rejecting the ONLY blood atonement that God still honors in this present day. It is the blood of Jesus alone that can justify the sinner, and make him righteous in the sight of a holy God! (Romans 5:8-9) There are two different kingdoms in conflict here. The kingdom of God, versus the kingdom of darkness (the devil’s kingdom) Which kingdom are you in?
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, DEPART FROM ME, ye CURSED, into EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the DEVIL and HIS ANGELS: (Matthew 25:41)
