As a former Roman Catholic, it is a great joy for me to be able to share the truth of salvation with you today. I write this article in a time when many have been bamboozled and deceived into believing that the Roman Catholic gospel is the true gospel as is found in the scriptures. Nothing could be further from the truth, and the scriptures have warned us about things like this. The Jewish apostle Paul warned the true believers against believing “another gospel” which is NOT the true gospel of Jesus Christ.
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.” (Galatians 1:8-10)
There is a CURSE upon the counterfeit gospel of the Roman Catholic church, according to the SCRIPTURES, and that truth is not to be taken lightly.
The unity with the church of Rome is not of the Lord, but millions of Christians have been lulled into a spiritual stupor through the deceitfulness of their pastors and “leaders” within the churches.
The apostle Paul also warned the true believers about the possibility of being duped by a different Jesus, Spirit and gospel!
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. ” (2 Corinthians 11:3-4)
The Roman Catholic system certainly fits the description which Paul gave the true believers.
1] “Another” Jesus
The Roman Catholic Jesus is NOT the Jesus as described in the scriptures! The real Jesus told his followers to follow him, and he never appointed a Pope to be the “Holy Father” for the believer. The real Jesus Christ never expected his people to be led by a political religious system such as the Vatican in Rome, which promotes their man-made traditions to keep people in spiritual bondage. The real Jesus Christ conquered sin and death once and for all on the cross, almost 2000 years ago. The Roman Catholic Jesus is being offered up on a daily basis in an “unbloody manner” in the “sacrifice of the Mass” which is absolute heresy in the sight of Almighty God. Millions need to be alerted to the truth that they can go directly to Jesus Christ by faith, for the salvation of their soul, without the need of a Pope or a local Catholic priest.
2] “Another” Spirit
The Roman Catholic “spirit” is NOT The Holy Spirit described in the scriptures. The real Holy Spirit will guide the believer into truth, and he will always testify about Jesus Christ! (John 15:26, 16:13-14) The Holy Spirit guides the believer into the basic truths of the gospel, and they know that they can be SAVED without any Pope, Priest or Popish interpretation of the scriptures. It was the Holy Spirit of truth who delivered me out from the demonic system of Roman Catholicism. The “Spirit” which controls the Roman Catholic system is NOT the Holy Spirit of truth, but it is “another spirit” which the apostle Paul warned us about!
3] “Another” Gospel
The Gospel of the Roman Catholic system is NOT the Gospel of Jesus Christ as is found in the scriptures. The “Catholic gospel” elevates their Pope, and it also exalts “Mother Mary” as a mediator and “Mother” of the Christian church. The Roman Catholic system also declares that their Roman Catholic priest can “satisfy the justice of God for sins committed against him” (The New St Joseph Baltimore Catechism, Lesson 27, Item 361, number 4, page 173).
Every time a Catholic Priest offers up the “sacrifice” of their Catholic Mass they believe that the justice of God is being satisfied! I attended thousands of Catholic Masses in my life, and I did not realize that I was lost and on my way to Hell, until I was truly born again of the Spirit! That one specific teaching on the “Catholic Mass” is the most diabolical teaching within the whole system of Roman Catholicism. Rome declares that Christ is being offered up in an “unbloody manner” every time a priest offers up the “sacrifice of the Mass.” But the Bible tells us that it is the BLOOD that atones for the soul! (Leviticus 17:11) The church of Rome believes that the Catholic Mass continues the sacrifice of the cross, and that each time a Mass is offered, the sacrifice of Christ is repeated!
The church of Rome believes that:
“The Mass is the SAME sacrifice as the sacrifice of the cross because in the Mass the victim is the same, and the principal priest is the same, Jesus Christ.” [ The New Saint Joseph Catechism, Lesson 27, Item 360, page 171]
Do you believe what you just read there? The Roman Catholic church teaches and believes that their Catholic Mass is the very same sacrifice as what took place almost 2000 years ago when Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins! Not only that but they teach and believe that the principal priest is the same Jesus Christ. Friends, that is absolute heresy and blasphemy against the true and living God. If a person does NOT agree with Rome’s teaching on the Catholic Mass, an anathema (curse) is placed upon them.
That curse is only ONE of over 100 curses from the Vatican’s Council of Trent, which were UPHELD by the Council of Vatican II. Do not be fooled by the modern day tactics of the church of Rome. The doctrines of Rome have NEVER changed at all. They are the same doctrines which were preached during the time when the system of Rome murdered the Protestants (protesters against Rome) who refused to bend their knee toward them!
True Christians in Chiapas, Mexico recently had all of their property confiscated, and were thrown into jail, simply because they refused to convert to Roman Catholicism. They were holding Christian meetings in their private homes but the local authorities were not happy with that at all. Pope Francis visited Chiapas, Mexico and he rode around in his Pope-mobile to the adoring praise of millions of precious but deceived souls, but he never mentioned the Christians who lost it all, for standing against his teachings!
The Gospel of the Vatican is absolute heresy and a counterfeit gospel! The gospel of the Roman Catholic system is NOT the gospel of Jesus Christ, but it fits clearly into the category of “another gospel” which the apostle Paul warned us about. You have a choice to make in this matter. The modern day “Evangelical Church” has been infiltrated for decades by “false brethren” and many of them are preaching from church pulpits.The apostle Paul also said this:
“Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” (Galatians 4:16)
Jesus is not impressed with “religion” and he made that very clear to a religious Jewish man named Nicodemus. (John 3:1-8) Every person in the world has experienced a physical birth which the Bible describes as being born in the flesh. If you want to enter Heaven one day, then you must be born again of the Spirit, and that is exactly what Jesus Christ told that Jewish man named Nicodemus.”
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth (wishes), and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. ” (John 3:6-8)
It does not matter whether you are Jewish or Gentile. If you have never been truly born again of the Spirit, then you are as lost as the most vile and wicked sinner on planet earth! Do not ever forget that either!
The Catholic Pope believes that HE is the “Holy Father” and the leader of the ENTIRE Christian church. The Pope believes that HE is Jesus Christ on earth, BUT Jesus Christ said there is only ONE “Holy Father” in Heaven
” And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. ” (Matthew 23:9)
Will you take Jesus Christ at his word, or will you listen to a mere man who absolutely fights against God’s Word! Remember this! You do not need a Catholic Mass to be forgiven of your sins. Why? Because Jesus Christ paid the price for your sins in FULL when he died on the cross. Never forget that!
“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” (Romans 5:6-9)
You do not need “Mary” or Catholic man-made “Saints” as Mediators. Why? Because the Bible shows us that Jesus Christ is the Only Mediator
“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;” (1 Timothy 2:5)
You Cannot Earn Your Way to Heaven either. Why? Because salvation is not for sale. Salvation is found ONLY in the person of Jesus Christ
“Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:10-12)
Jesus Christ told us that HE was the WAY to Heaven. Salvation is found in the PERSON of Jesus Christ, and NOT in a man-made political religious institution.
The real Jesus Christ went back to Heaven to prepare a place for us
” Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ” (John 14:1-6)
There is no second chance after a person “passes” into eternity, and Purgatory is nothing more than an invention of the Roman Catholic church. Multitudes have perished in their sins, and ended up in Hell, because they believed that they would ultimately be delivered from this imaginary place called Purgatory. Millions of Roman Catholics are still having Catholic “Masses” offered up for their deceased (dead) relatives and friends on a daily basis throughout the world. They make a donation to purchase a “Mass Card” so that their relatives might escape Purgatory sooner. I remember the suggested donation for a colorful “Mass Card” in the early 1960’s was five dollars, or one dollar for a plain cheap looking card.
Jesus Christ preached about Heaven and Hell!
Jesus Christ preached about Salvation and Damnation!
Jesus Christ NEVER preached about Purgatory!
The Purgatory teaching is an absolute INSULT to the finished work of Christ!
Do not ever forget that!
Jesus told a story about a “rich man” who died and went to Hell
” There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. ” (Luke 16:19-31)
Listen to what Jesus Christ said AFTER he rose from the dead!
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. ” (Mark 16:15-16)
Do not fear my friend because Jesus came to save YOU too!
Call upon his name and ask him to save YOU
Use your own words and speak from your heart
God will certainly hear YOU my friend
YOUR soul is as precious as any other soul in the world!
Do not be ashamed to call upon the Lord
Forget about what “others” may think!
The hour is extremely late
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23)
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
“And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. ” (Mark 1:15)
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:9-13)
