There was a meeting which took place in late 2014 between the Roman Catholic Pope Francis and the late Shimon Peres, the former President of Israel. Here are some excerpts (with my comments in-between) from an ARTICLE from the Jerusalem Post. Shimon Peres believed that the “Holy Father” Pope Francis was the one person who could bring about WORLD PEACE! Shimon Peres described the Pope as the only truly respected leader in the world today.”
Shimon Peres, a patriarch of today’s Israel, wants to leave a legacy. Most in this mode aim for things like monuments, memoirs and money. Peres’s aim is world peace. And in his opinion, Pope Francis, a man he calls “Holy Father,” is the one to make it happen. Vatican spokesmen concur, as does Italy’s representative for Islam, who “fully agrees.”
On September 4, 2014, he was granted an impressive 45-minute meeting with Catholicism’s popular pontiff, a man Peres asserts is more powerful than the United Nations for advocating peace.
The problem, as Peres sees it, is that “in the past, most wars were motivated by the idea of nationality. Today, however, they are being waged primarily in the name of religion.”
In an exclusive interview with the Catholic periodical, Famiglia Cristiana (The Christian Family), Peres divulged his plans: “Perhaps for the first time in history, the Holy Father is a leader not only respected by many people, but also by different religions and their leaders.”
“In fact,” Peres clarified, “he is perhaps the only truly respected leader” in the world today.
Do you see how the groundwork is being laid down for the Roman Catholic Pope to be the leader of religious leaders? As a former Roman Catholic I must tell you that the Roman Catholic Pope is certainly NOT my leader, and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that he preaches a counterfeit gospel!
While Francis has refrained from commenting on Peres’s assessment, that same silence permits it. It also permits the framework of Peres’s idea to be tested in the crucible of world opinion. “The United Nations has had its day,” Peres opined. “What we need is an organization of United Religions, a United Nations of religions.”
Most of the “religious world” would have no problem with Pope Francis, or some other Pope, leading the way, including pastors and ministry leaders in so called “anointed” churches. When the Pope snaps his fingers the people they come a running, just like they did in 1980 with Pope John Paul II. He called a meeting at Assisi, Italy, with all twelve of the world’s leading religions, and he said that they were all praying to the same God! That group included Roman Catholics, “Christians,”Jewish, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists and even witch doctors! Millions of Christians have already been seduced because they have followed in the footsteps of their unfaithful pastors and leaders. The true Christian martyrs who were slain by the millions defending the true gospel of Jesus Christ would NEVER even think of following a Roman Catholic Pope.
“This will be the best way,” he continued, “to fight terrorists who kill in the name of faith.”
Mr Shimon Peres must have forgotten about the Roman Catholic inquisition where they put millions to death who refused to believe and follow their counterfeit teachings.
Accordingly, “there should be a Charter of United Religions, just as there is a UN Charter. This is what I have proposed to the pope.”
Fulvio Scaglione, deputy managing editor of Famiglia Cristiana, asked, “Would you see the pope as the leader of United Religions?” “Yes,” Peres replied. And not only because Francis is a globally respected leader. He is also the best choice because the world needs “an indisputable moral authority that says out loud, “No, God does not want this and will not allow it. We must fight against exploitation in the name of God.”
The Vatican’s representative to the United Nations, Archbishop Silvano Maria Tomasi, was effusive about Peres’s “perception of Pope Francis, not only as leader of the Catholic Church, but also as a symbol of all religion in the modern world. This is,” he said, “a significant turning point in history.”
Italy’s spokesman for Islam liked everything that Peres said. Handsome, articulate and Western in his manner, Yahya Pallavicini is imam of the al-Wahid Mosque in Milan and vice president of the Islamic Religious Community of Italy, a.k.a. Coreis, a community solicitous toward Christians and Jews.
Pallavicini praised Peres as “a man particularly inspired, combining Jewish faith with political experience. I fully agree” with his proposal to the pope, he said.
In fact, he continued, “Pope Francis may be the most authoritative representative” of “spiritually sensitive” religious leaders in the world today. “I, a Muslim, have much to learn from him,” he said.
As a Muslim Yahya Pallavicini does not believe in the deity of Jesus Christ and the people of Islam do not even believe that God has a Son! That can be found in their Islamic Koran.
If one of the Vatican’s objectives was to test worldwide reaction to Peres’s proposal, response to date indicates mild interest. Outside Italy, mainstream media has barely acknowledged the encounter. Those that have reported it treat it more as a human interest story than hard news.
Here and there voices in pulpits and cyberspace cry danger, but Internet statistics indicate that very few are listening. If Peres’s proposal to the pope gains traction, it will create a global religious union initiated by representatives of the world’s three monotheistic religions, a United Religions organization that blends its expression from one-third Judaism, one-third Christianity and one-third Islam. And apparently led from the seven hills of Rome.
The scriptures make it clear, and Jesus Christ made it very clear that there was only ONE way to Heaven and it was through him! (John 14:6, Acts 4:10-12)

Another Wake Up Call
If you are a TRUE born again Bible believing Christian, then that article should make your hair stand up if you have any. Do you see what is happening in the world in these last days? Shimon Peres like the majority of Jewish people, did not believe that Jesus Christ was the Messiah, and he did not believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God who came down from Heaven. Shimon Peres did not believe the Biblical truth, that Jesus Christ was GOD manifest in the flesh, and it certainly was his privilege to do that! Did you know that the Bible declares, that those who do NOT believe that Jesus Christ was manifest in the flesh, are of an ANTICHRIST spirit! Here are the scriptures where the Jewish apostle John WARNED his fellow believers about these things.
“Who is a LIAR but he that DENIETH that JESUS is the CHRIST (MESSIAH)? He is ANTICHRIST, that DENIETH the Father and the Son.” 1 John 2:22

“And every spirit that confesseth NOT that JESUS CHRIST (MESSIAH) is come in the flesh is NOT OF GOD: and this is that spirit of ANTICHRIST, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” 1John 4:3
Did you read that ladies and gentlemen? What do the scriptures say about those who do not confess that Jesus Christ (Messiah) has come in the flesh? Does it NOT say that they are NOT of GOD? Did Shimon Peres believe that Jesus Christ (Messiah) came in the flesh? NO!
“For many DECEIVERS are entered into the world, who confess NOT that JESUS CHRIST (MESSIAH) is come in the flesh. This is a DECEIVER and an ANTICHRIST.” 2John 1:7
What do the scriptures say about those people who do NOT believe that Jesus Christ (Messiah) has come in the flesh? Does it NOT say that they are a DECEIVERS? Does it NOT say that they are an antichrist? Did Shimon Peres believe that Jesus Christ (Messiah) came in the flesh? NO! According to the scriptures (and not my own opinion), Shimon Peres would easily fall into the category of being of an antichrist spirit. The warnings which were given by the Jewish apostle John were given to prepare Christians for situations just like this. It is most unfortunate, and spiritually dangerous that these scriptures are totally ignored in this day of apostasy. As a former Roman Catholic I am continually amazed that the majority of Pastors and church leaders NEVER speak about these things, nor do they warn their people!
Please keep in mind that the following scriptures which tell us, that Jesus Christ was the WORD who was sent down from Heaven above. If a person refuses to believe that, then they are without question of an antichrist spirit! When the Lord Jesus Christ arrived on the scene almost 2000 years ago, the scriptures tell us that he was NOT RECEIVED by the majority of HIS OWN Jewish people.
“He came unto his own, and his own RECEIVED HIM NOT. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And THE WORD was MADE FLESH, and DWELT AMONG US, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” John 1:11-17
Do not miss this folks. The scriptures tell us that Jesus Christ came unto his OWN, but his own received him NOT, and that is speaking about the Jewish people. The scriptures specifically tell us that the WORD was made FLESH, and dwelt among us. We know that the WORD and Jesus Christ are the same person, and we also know that the WORD is in truth GOD! Earlier in the very same chapter it said this:
“In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was WITH GOD, and the WORD WAS GOD. The same was in the beginning with God. ALL THINGS were made BY HIM; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” John 1:1-3
So the Jewish apostle John told us that those people who RECEIVED Jesus Christ (Messiah) were given the POWER to become the sons (children) of God. If a person does NOT receive Jesus Christ then it is quite obvious that they are NOT given the power to become the sons (children) of God. It was the very same Jewish apostle John who WARNED us about those who are of an ANTICHRIST spirit!
Is it not interesting to you that a man like Shimon Peres rejected Jesus Christ as Lord and Messiah, and yet he desired a Pope, who claims to be the “Vicar of Jesus Christ on Earth,” to be a leader of a United Nations of Religions? Is it not interesting that the former President of Israel would address a man such as Pope Francis as the “Holy Father” when the Bible FORBIDS that?
“And call no man your father upon the earth: for ONE is your FATHER, which is IN HEAVEN.” Matthew 23:9
People please do not forget that the Pope declares himself to be the “Vicar of Christ on Earth”
In other words, the OFFICIAL teaching of the Roman Catholic system, is that their POPE IS JESUS CHRIST ON EARTH, and the leader of the ENTIRE Christian church! BUT Listen to how the REAL JESUS CHRIST WARNED his followers about this very thing!
“And as he (Jesus) sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the SIGN of THY COMING, and of the END of THE WORLD? And Jesus answered and said unto them, TAKE HEED THAT NO MAN DECEIVE YOU. For MANY shall come IN MY NAME, saying, I AM CHRIST; and SHALL DECEIVE MANY.” Matthew 24:3-5
Think of all the Roman Catholic Popes throughout the years who have come in the name of Jesus Christ. They have ALL declared themselves to be the Vicar of Jesus Christ on earth. Do you remember the Popes during the Roman Catholic Inquisition, and how they ordered multitudes of Christians to be tortured and murdered?
Do you see the contrast between the Jewish apostle John’s warning about the ANTICHRIST spirit, and this UNBELIEVING Jewish man Shimon Peres, desired that the Roman Catholic Pope Francis should be the leader of a “United Nations of Religions”? I believe that all Christians are going to be put in a position in the very near future, where they will have to CHOOSE whether they are going to bend their knee toward Rome, and the Papal ANTICHRIST system, or CHOOSE to follow the Lord Jesus Christ alone. I believe that the free speech of those who oppose Rome will be severely tested during this time.
“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, CHOOSE you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15
Do YOU still believe that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven? Jesus still believes it!
“Jesus saith unto him, I AM the way, the truth, and the life: NO MAN cometh unto the Father, BUT BY ME.” John 14:6
Do YOU still believe that Jesus Christ is the ONLY name by which a person can be SAVED? God still believes that and so do I.
“Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of ISRAEL that by the name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth, WHOM YE CRUCIFIED, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there SALVATION in any other: for there is NONE OTHER NAME under heaven given among men, whereby we must be SAVED.” Acts 4:10-12
Those words still stand true today, and you can rest assured that the Lord Jesus Christ is watching what is happening in the world today. The Lord knows those people who are truly following him, and he is also aware of the “spiritual” shenanigans of the smooth talking preachers in the land today also. Many of those smooth talkers are super professional in the way they use “Christian lingo” in their “loving” speeches, but they deny the Lord by their own deceitfulness.
“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, DECEIVING, and being DECEIVED.” 2Timothy 3:13
A Red Carpet For The Antichrist
A red carpet is being laid out for the antichrist, and I believe we are going to see some frightening things take place in the days ahead. I do not know what is coming, but I do believe that it will happen SUDDENLY, and as fast as you can turn your dinner plate upside down. I believe that the whole country, and the whole world will be shaken in an instant. Many of the modern day DECEIVERS claiming to be Christians, are nothing more than “wolves in sheep’s clothing” who have infiltrated, and seduced, the true Christians for decades.
“Beware of FALSE prophets, which come to you in SHEEP’S clothing, but INWARDLY they are ravening WOLVES.” Matthew 7:15
Pope Francis still preaches the false teachings of the Catholic Mass, Purgatory, Mary as mediator, Mary as co-redeemer, prayers to the dead, and prayers for the dead. Not only that but Pope Francis and the Catholic Magisterium (teaching office), still hold fast to over 100 anathemas (curses) against Christians who do NOT agree with their FALSE teachings! Those curses were instituted at the Council of Trent, and upheld by the Council of Vatican II. I thank Almighty God, that I am under the curses of the Roman Catholic system, because IF I wasn’t then I would be in a heap of Divine trouble! Why? Because I have already been REDEEMED by the BLOOD of Jesus Christ! Hallelujah to the Lamb of God! I have already RECEIVED the promise of the SPIRIT through FAITH in Jesus Christ! I do not care what the Pope or any of his followers would have to say about their man-made curses! Jesus Christ is the unblemished Passover Lamb of God and the ONLY one who can save your soul.
“CHRIST hath REDEEMED us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:13-14
“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not REDEEMED with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by TRADITION from your fathers; BUT with the precious BLOOD OF CHRIST, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:” 1Peter 1:18-19
I have already been REGENERATED by the POWER of the Holy Spirit by the MERCY of GOD, and NOT through any good works that I have done! Notice that God is called Saviour, and Jesus Christ is called Saviour also. Folks get SAVED the BIBLICAL way, and if you are a Roman Catholic I encourage you to LEAVE that system immediately if not sooner!
“But after that the KINDNESS and love of GOD our SAVIOUR toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his MERCY he SAVED us, by the washing of REGENERATION, and renewing of the HOLY GHOST; Which he shed on us abundantly through JESUS CHRIST our SAVIOUR; That being JUSTIFIED by his GRACE, we should be made HEIRS according to the hope of eternal life.” Titus 3:4-7
Pope Francis brought his Papal roadshow to America in September of 2015, after a visit to Communist Cuba. Here is a link to a VIDEO from the former Pope Benedict’s VISIT to the the USA, when he was greeted by Christian preachers from just about every denomination around. Some of those religious leaders PHYSICALLY bowed before the Pope, but from what I can see, apparently all of them, SPIRITUALLY bowed before the Pope. Dr A.R. Bernard of the well known Christian Cultural center in Brooklyn NY, met with both Pope Francis, and the previous Pope Benedict. Here is an excerpt from the Christian Post which was written last September:
“ . . . Bernard also shared his thoughts on meeting Francis, whom he described as “very warm” and “very charismatic.” He added that he found the pontiff “consistent with what he has presented, and that is to be the people’s pope.”
“He’s like what you see is what you get, I genuinely felt that,” added Bernard. “I’ll be honest, if I didn’t feel that, if he was cold, I would say so, but I was very taken. This pope has presented a tone of inclusiveness that the media has highlighted. But the reality is, although he has expressed that tone of inclusiveness, he hasn’t changed Catholic doctrine. It is still what it is and has been in terms of orthodoxy for the last 2,000 years. It was a blessing.”

There is an unseen multitude of Christian witnesses in Heaven who were tortured, and burned at the stake, for standing against the religious system of Roman Catholicism, and they would be in total disagreement with any fellowship with them.
The current Pope Francis visited Mexico in February 2016, where he bowed down before “Our Lady of Guadalupe” which is the Mexican version of the Virgin Mary. The Pope remained SILENT regarding the born again, Bible believing Christians who had ALL of their property confiscated, and were tossed into jail, AFTER they refused to convert to Roman Catholicism. Many of the jailed Christians, were former Roman Catholics, and they testified of how the real Jesus Christ set them free from the religious system of Roman Catholicism! The church of Rome is doing exactly what they did in the Middle Ages, and the “ministers” in the pulpits of America, join the Pope in his silence!

Dear reader you are going to have to come to the place where you are going to serve and follow your compromising and deceived Pastor, or you are going to FOLLOW the Lord Jesus Christ and take him at his word. As a former Roman Catholic I choose to follow the Lord Jesus Christ, because he is the same one who showed me the gross wickedness of the system of Roman Catholicism.
The ULTIMATE goal of the Pope and the Roman Catholic system is to have ALL things under their control in THIS world. It is the OFFICIAL teaching of the Roman Catholic system that they are the ONLY TRUE CHURCH in the world. They desire to bring ALL “Christian” churches under their control. Did you ever take notice of how Presidents and leaders from every part of the globe, go running like little puppets, to have an audience with the Pope? The “church” of Rome desires POWER on this Earth, and in this world, but Jesus Christ declared that HIS Kingdom was NOT of this world. (John 18:36) That is why I speak out against the false new birth, which the church of Rome declares happens when a little infant is baptized by a Catholic priest. They teach that a little infant is “born again” when they are baptized by the Catholic priest. I was baptized by a Roman Catholic priest but I did not ENTER the kingdom of God at that time at all. When I was born again of the Spirit, I knew that the Roman Catholic church was NOT of the Lord, because I was regenerated in the Biblical way through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I was SAVED by the GRACE of God, and not by anything that I have done! (Titus 3:5, Ephesians 2:8-9) There are literally millions of people sitting inside Roman Catholic churches, who have NEVER even been SAVED, because they were taught that they became a child of God, when the Catholic priest sprinkled their head.
The TRUE Christian martyrs who were killed by the Roman Catholic system knew that the Kingdom of God was NOT of this world, and that kept them going until the end. Jesus Christ told his followers the following:
“And I say unto you MY FRIENDS, Be not afraid of them that KILL THE BODY, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath POWER to cast into HELL; yea, I say unto you, FEAR HIM.” Luke 12:4-5

The Pope likes to talk about inter-religious dialogue with people of “other faiths.” Jesus also dialogued with people of “other faiths” who did not agree with HIM, or anything that he preached. Jesus let them know, in no uncertain terms, that they were LOST and HELL-BOUND without faith in him.
“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which KILLED the PROPHETS. Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the DAMNATION of HELL?” Matthew 23:29-33
“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which TESTIFY OF ME. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. I receive not honour from men. But I know you, that ye have NOT the love of God in you. I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if ANOTHER shall come in his OWN NAME, him ye WILL receive. How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only? Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even MOSES, in whom ye trust. For had ye believed MOSES, ye would have believed me: for HE WROTE OF ME.” John 5:39-46
The majority of well known Pastors who preach in Non-Denominational, Inter-Denominational and most of the other churches have been bamboozled by the counterfeit system of the Roman Catholic church. Christian leader Billy Graham once had a private audience with Pope John Paul II, and Kathryn Kuhlman also had a private audience with Pope Paul VI. Kathryn Kuhlman regularly had 30-40 Roman Catholic priests and nuns on stage with her, at her “healing crusades” which shows us how long this deception has been going on.
Buckingham writes in her book “Daughter Of Destiny,” that Kuhlman had “a special love for doctors, and wanted them either on the stage or on the front rows of the auditorium. The same was true of priests and nuns – especially if they were ‘in uniform’. Nothing thrilled Kathryn more than to have thirty or forty Catholic clergymen, especially if they wore clerical collars or, better yet, cassocks, sitting behind her while she ministered. Modern day Christian leaders have also met with the present Pope Francis at the Vatican. Millions of Christians have been seduced by things like this. The Jewish apostle Paul WARNED the Christians about the “leaven” of false teaching, but few today even bat an eye when they hear about things like this:
“Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth? This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you. A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.” Galatians 5:7-9
The LUMP is just about FULLY leavened now, and the meal is well done, after many decades of compromise, deceit and wickedness within the church. I encourage you to ask YOUR Pastor’s and leaders where they stand on the system of Roman Catholicism, and then ask them why they have NEVER even once WARNED the congregation about them! There is a very good chance that you are part of a “Popish Church” or a “Popish Ministry” without realizing it. Do not fall for the counterfeit “Love Trap” delusion, which is nothing more than a religious smokescreen, to cover up the FALSE UNITY with the system of Rome!
A Call To Remember
Do not ever forget that the Christian Martyrs stood against the Roman Catholic Papacy and their system, and it cost them their lives. Millions were slaughtered for standing against the teachings of Rome which remain the same to this day! The Christians were martyred for standings against the Roman Catholic Mass which teaches that the justice of God was satisfied for sins committed against Him, every time a priest says a Mass. They stood against the teaching of Purgatory. They stood against the necessity of Catholic mediators such as Mary and the Catholic man-made saints. An article at the Crux (Covering All Things Catholic) website said the following:
In his homily on Thursday, Francis said that “Jesus cannot be understood without his mother.”
At one point, the pope also introduced an impromptu Marian devotion, inviting the assembly in St. Peter’s Basilica to rise, face a statue of Mary, and repeat three times, “Mary, Mother of God.”
The pope recalled that at the 5th-century Council of Ephesus, a crowd actually shouted that phrase at the gathered bishops while waving clubs at them, threatening violence if they didn’t formally proclaim Mary as the Mother of God.
This time, Francis jokingly invited people to make the chant “without clubs.”

So the present Pope Francis encouraged the crowd at St Peters square to face a statue and chant “Mary is the Mother of God” but the Bible shouts out against such behavior in the second Commandment!
“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.” Exodus 20:4-6
Every person at St Peter’s Square had a choice whether to believe the Pope’s words or to believe the scriptures. I can testify to you today that the TRUE second commandment which I just quoted above, had a great impact upon my leaving the false religious system of Rome. The Roman Catholic church REMOVED the Second Commandment, quoted above, from their Catechisms. I grew up learning that the Second Commandment was “Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain” and so I never knew that the real Second Commandment spoke out against the idolatry which permeates every Catholic church building. Rome took the Tenth Commandment and chopped it in two, to create the Ninth and Tenth Commandments to make up for the Second Commandment which they removed.
“Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.” Exodus 20:17
I point this out for the purpose of bringing some spiritual light on the subject of idolatry. There is an interesting portion of scripture in the book of Acts where the city of Ephesus went into an uproar because the apostle Paul had been preaching his heart out to the people, and warning them about such idolatry and the worship of graven images. This upset the merchants who were making a fortune by creating these graven images:
And the same time there arose no small stir about that way. For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen; Whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, Sirs, ye know that by this craft we have our wealth. Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands: So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth. And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians. (Acts 19:23-28)
It is rather interesting that Pope Francis mentioned the people of Ephesus waving clubs at the Bishops, and shouting out “Mary is the Mother of God” because it is very similar to what happened in Paul’s time regarding the idol of “Diana of the Ephesians.”
I have been SAVED since 1989, and I laid my rosary beads down at that time. I can assure you that I have absolutely no need to go through “Mother Mary,” or to come home to the “Mother Church” in Rome. I have been truly born again of the Spirit, through FAITH in Jesus Christ. I know that I personally deserved nothing but the LOWEST part of Hell, but I understood the scriptures by the Spirit of the living God, and I called upon the Lord to save my soul. Salvation is available to ALL people, but it is NOT through the Pope and his church, but it is though Jesus Christ, the only one who shed his perfect blood for you. The good news is that you can call upon the Lord Jesus Christ wherever you are. Jesus said “repent and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15) The proof that the Bible is real is that you will truly GET SAVED and you will truly be BORN AGAIN the Biblical way. (John 3:1-8, 2 Corinthians 5:17) That is how a person goes from being an ENEMY of God, to becoming RECONCILED back to God, through his Son Jesus Christ.
“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” Romans 5:6-10
“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:10-13
