Here are some reasons for YOU to leave the church of Rome, IF in fact YOU are still a Roman Catholic, or are in a “Christian” church that is in UNITY with her! Remember this: A FALSE gospel is NO gospel at all, and it will DAMN your soul in the end. The Jewish apostle Paul made it clear that there is a GENUINE CURSE (anathema) upon any false gospel, and the Roman Catholic gospel certainly fits the bill.
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach ANY OTHER GOSPEL unto you than that which we have preached unto you, LET HIM BE ACCURSED. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach ANY OTHER GOSPEL unto you than that ye have received, LET HIM BE ACCURSED. For do I now persuade men, or GOD? or do I seek to PLEASE MEN? for if I yet PLEASED MEN, I should not be the servant of Christ. (Galatians 1:8-10)
The modern day “Christian” church is overflowing with man-pleasing pastors, and the many people (puppets) who are employed by them. I have a lot of sympathy for the genuine men and women of God, who get caught up with leaders, who compromise with the Roman Catholic church, and other false churches because they would be out of a job, and their families would suffer greatly. The “Christian” church is often run as a business, and that business must bring in money or it is bound to fail. It is very easy to UNITE and COMPROMISE with a church like the Roman Catholic church, or the Mormon church, because otherwise it would make many waves, and even cause people to HATE you, just like Jesus promised would happen to true Christians.
If the world HATE YOU, ye know that it HATED ME before it HATED YOU. If ye were OF THE WORLD, the WORLD would LOVE HIS OWN: but because ye are NOT OF THE WORLD, but I have CHOSEN you OUT of THE WORLD, therefore THE WORLD HATETH YOU. (John 15:18-19)
Not only that, but many of those man-pleasing pastors are already compromising with major “Christian” leaders who send financial support to them, and if they were to speak out, that could possibly cut off that support. You must remember that this “walk with the LORD”, is a one on one walk, and we are all going to answer to HIM. So please do NOT become involved WITH or CONTINUE WITH those who work hand in hand with those who preach a false gospel.
The Roman Catholic Pope Francis clearly affirmed the Roman Catholic teaching regarding the sacrament of Baptism, and how a person is “born again” into the “church”.
” . . . He (Pope Francis) remarked that the Church is our mother as she gave birth to us in our Baptism, and, “since that day, like an affectionate mother, brings us up in faith and shows us, through the strength of God’s Word, the path of salvation, defending us from evil”. False Teaching: Born Again Through Infant Baptism
I thank God that he SAVED me out from the false religious system which is known as Roman Catholicism. I came out from that system in 1989 and I have never looked back. I know that I know that the Roman Catholic church is one of the most deceitful, and deceptive religious systems in the world. I was baptized as an INFANT, when a Roman Catholic priest sprinkled my head with water, and as a Roman Catholics I was taught that I became “born again” at that time. When I was truly born again of the Spirit many years later, I knew that I had been delivered from a religious system of gross spiritual darkness. Here is the official teaching from the Roman Catholic church regarding their Baptism.
Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: “Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water and in the word.” [Item# 1213 Catholic Catechism 1994]
By Baptism all sins are forgiven, original sin and all personal sins, as well as all punishment for sin. In those who have been reborn nothing remains that would impede their entry into the Kingdom of God, neither Adam’s sin, nor personal sin, nor the consequences of sin, the gravest of which is separation from God.[Item# 1263 Catholic Catechism 1994]
Baptism not only purifies from all sins, but also makes the neophyte “a new creature,” an adopted son of God, who has become a “partaker of the divine nature,” member of Christ and co-heir with him, and a temple of the Holy Spirit. [Item# 1265 Catholic Catechism 1994]
I will speak for myself here and tell you that I was on my way to a fiery eternal Hell according to the word of God (the Bible), and that I was not truly “born again” until the age of thirty six. That was despite the fact that I was baptized by a Roman Catholic priest a short time after I was born into this world. Rome’s teaching regarding how a person is born again, is totally unbiblical, and it has deceived countless billions over the centuries. A person is truly born again when the SPIRITUAL “SEED” of God’s word takes root inside the heart, and that same person believes the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Bible makes it very clear that it is through the preaching of God’s word that souls are truly saved. A person can come to the knowledge of the truth when they are reading the scriptures (Bible) and the Holy Spirit of truth anoints that word to their heart, and they turn to the Lord (repentance) for SALVATION. A person can also hear the word of God preached on the radio, or television, and that same Holy Spirit will anoint the word to the heart, and a person can get SAVED, right then and there. The Bible makes it clear that it was God’s choice to use the PREACHING of the word of God, (sowing the seed), specifically the CROSS of Jesus Christ, that people might be SAVED! Listen to the Jewish apostle Paul, a former murderer of Christians as he expounds on this subject:
For the preaching of THE CROSS is to them that perish FOOLISHNESS; but unto us which are SAVED it is the POWER OF GOD. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to NOTHING the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made FOOLISH the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of PREACHING to save them that BELIEVE. (1 Corinthians 1:18-21)
People are NOT SAVED when they are baptized as INFANTS or ADULTS, but they ARE SAVED when they understand that they are DEAD in their own sins, and they turn to Jesus Christ, the only ONE who PAID for their sins ON that bloody cross. Remember this: A little INFANT child CANNOT repent and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ (Mark 1:15, Acts 20:21) and yet the Roman Catholic church teaches that INFANTS are reborn as sons of God, and regenerated when they are baptized. That is a false and LUDICROUS teaching and it is diametrically and DEMONICALLY opposed to what Jesus Christ taught. Jesus told a Jewish ruler named Nicodemus that he “must be born again” and he made it very clear that he was talking about a SPIRITUAL birth, which had NOTHING to do with being baptized in water!
JESUS answered and said unto him, Verily (Truly), verily (truly), I say unto thee, Except a man be BORN AGAIN, he CANNOT see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3)
That which is born of the FLESH is FLESH; and that which is BORN of the SPIRIT is SPIRIT. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye MUST be BORN AGAIN. (John 3:6-7)
In the quotes from the Roman Catholic Catechism, at the beginning of this article, Rome teaches that ALL of a person’s sins are forgiven at baptism, as well as the punishment for those sins. That is another false teaching that is unfounded in the Bible, because the Bible makes it very clear that it is ONLY by the BLOOD of Jesus Christ, that a sinner can be JUSTIFIED and SAVED from the wrath of God! The apostle Peter knew that a person became born again AFTER they RECEIVED the incorruptible seed of the word of God into their heart. Peter knew that it all had to do with believing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Peter’s teaching refutes the Vatican’s teaching that a person is born again as a little infant!
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the WORD of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the WORD of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the WORD which by the GOSPEL is preached unto you.” (1 Peter 1:23-25)
Rome also teaches that their Catholic Mass can satisfy the justice of God for sins committed against him, which is another FALSE teaching of the Roman Catholic church. I hope that you are beginning to see the gross WICKEDNESS of that system, and hopefully NOT join hands in UNITY with them under any circumstances. Billions (literally) of precious Roman Catholic people have been deceived over the centuries, because they were not being told that which was FREELY given to them by Jesus Christ.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the SPIRIT OF GOD. Now we have received, NOT the spirit of the WORLD, but the SPIRIT which is of GOD; that we might know the things that are FREELY GIVEN to us of GOD. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the HOLY GHOST teacheth; comparing SPIRITUAL things with SPIRITUAL. But the NATURAL man receiveth NOT the things of the SPIRIT of GOD: for they are FOOLISHNESS unto him: NEITHER can he KNOW THEM, because they are SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED. (1 Corinthians 2:11-14)
Preach The Word and Preach the Cross
When I was truly born again of the Spirit, it was the Holy Spirit of truth (John 16:13) who showed me the great WICKEDNESS of the Roman Catholic church. I never heard the truth of the simple gospel of Jesus Christ being preached at the Catholic church, because the TRUE Gospel is diametrically OPPOSED to the Catholic teachings. I would recite the “apostles creed” by rote every Sunday, BUT I was on my way to HELL, and I did not even realize it. A person can recite the “apostles creed” until they turn purple if they like, but that will NOT save their soul.
I was taught about Purgatory, the Mass, and I prayed my “Hail Mary” prayers like millions of other Roman Catholic people, BUT I was as lost as could be. Who was it that showed me the DECEPTION that I was in? It was the Holy Spirit who opened my “spiritual eyes” to KNOW the truth, and I am bringing forth this teaching today, so that you might be made aware yourself. It was the Holy Spirit who showed me the truth about Jesus Christ, and what Jesus has already DONE for me upon the cross! That is the absolute beauty and very CENTER of the Gospel! That is what makes the Gospel such “good news.”
Do NOT be fooled by the present Pope Francis and his call for “Christian unity” because the Holy Spirit of truth will NEVER call the people of God to join hands with those who preach a FALSE gospel. (Galatians 1:8-10) Many people are impressed by the fact that the present Pope Francis has been riding around in a much smaller automobile, than the bullet proof “Pope-mobiles” used by previous Popes.
Do NOT be fooled my friends, even if you see the Pope come riding into town, on a beat up bicycle. Why? Because he would still be preaching the same FALSE gospel as the previous Popes!
The cross of Jesus Christ speaks volumes to ALL the people in the world. The cross of Jesus Christ tells us that there is absolutely nothing “good” about our human condition in the sight of Almighty God. The law of God stops every mouth from justifying themselves before Holy and righteous God! (Romans 3:19-20) It took nothing less than the cross of Jesus Christ to SAVE people from their sins. Why? Because it is the blood which makes an atonement for the soul. (Leviticus 17:11) If you are reading this article right now, you are either SAVED or LOST in the sight of Almighty God. He knows everything about you and his desire for you and your loved ones is that you might be SAVED! Perhaps you were baptized as an INFANT like myself, but deep inside that heart of yours you know that you are NOT right with God. The good news is that you can get right with God right NOW, without leaving your seat, or running back to “Mother Church.” The following passage written by the Jewish apostle Paul (former murderer of Christians) makes it clear that YOU can be justified by the BLOOD which Christ shed for YOU on the cross.
But GOD commendeth his LOVE toward US, in that, while WE were yet SINNERS, CHRIST died for US. Much more then, being now JUSTIFIED by HIS BLOOD, we shall be SAVED from WRATH through HIM. For if, when WE WERE ENEMIES, we were RECONCILED to God by the DEATH of his SON, much more, being RECONCILED, we shall be SAVED by his life. (Romans 5:8-10)
I have been RECONCILED back to Almighty God simply because of his awesome death upon the cross. It is NOT because of what I have done to please God, BUT it IS because of what he has DONE for me. People who were SAVED prior to the death of Jesus Christ, were SAVED by the same eternal Christ who has always existed, and it was because they had a true and LIVING faith in him. Most people cannot come to terms that they are LOST and DEAD in their sins without Jesus Christ. Millions of people will always attempt to find something “good” in themselves, and try to “pay back” God, by their “good works” never coming to the place of “receiving Christ” (John 1:11-13) and getting SAVED. When a person has been truly regenerated by the Spirit of God, they will have an extreme desire to PREACH the word to the lost people around them. Why? Because they know that they are in the SAME lost condition that they were in prior to their conversion to Jesus Christ. That is how it was for me and my wife Cathy, and that is how it is for ALL people who have been truly regenerated by the power of the Holy Spirit. This next verse demolishes the counterfeit teaching of the Roman Catholic sacrifice of the Mass which is repeated every day througout the world. Why? Because Jesus Christ FINISHED the job when he sacrificed himself on the cross!
“And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can NEVER take away sins: But this man, after he had offered ONE sacrifice for sins FOR EVER, sat down on the right hand of God;” (Hebrews 10:11-12)
Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins on the cross, and then he SAT down because his work was finished. (John 19:30) The Roman Catholic priests continue to stand and perform the sacrifice of the Mass every day, and they insist that the Mass satisfies the justice of God for sins committed against him.
The New Saint Joseph Baltimore Catechism declares that one of the purposes of the Mass is “to satisfy the justice of God for sins committed against him.” You can find that counterfeit and soul-damning teaching in Lesson 27, Item #361, Purpose #4 on page 173. Do not ever forget that ladies and gentlemen. That Catechism has the Imprimatur of the Roman Catholic church which means that the teachings contained within that catechism are officialy approved by the Roman Catholic hierarchy.
The Jewish apostle Peter, whom Rome claims was the first Pope (not true) wrote the following.
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious BLOOD OF CHRIST, as of a LAMB WITHOUT BLEMISH and without spot: Who verily was FOREORDAINED before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being BORN AGAIN, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, BY THE WORD OF GOD, which liveth and abideth for ever. (1 Peter 1:18-23)
Peter linked the Jewish passover together with the cross of Jesus Christ, because that is exactly what the Lord wanted him to do. Peter knew that he was REDEEMED by the BLOOD of Jesus Christ, and he was eternally grateful for that. Peter also knew that his fellow Jews (and Gentiles) were as lost and Hell-bound as he was, before he got SAVED! Peter was as much a wretch as any other man in the world. Peter would have spent an eternity in HELL just like any other person in the world without Christ, and HE would be the first to tell you that. Peter would be absolutely REPULSED by the message which comes forth from the Roman Catholic church, as it links his name to being their first Pope. Peter knew that it was the BLOOD and nothing BUT the BLOOD of Jesus Christ, that could SAVE and JUSTIFY any lost soul..
Jesus Christ: Receive Him or Reject Him
Any person who has been truly born again of the Spirit will have a desire to bring others to the place where they realize that hey are LOST and DEAD in their sins, until they REPENT and BELIEVE the gospel. (Mark 1:15) How are the lost people in the world to be reached with the gospel? Should we assume that they are SAVED because they were baptized as a little infant in a Roman Catholic church, or some other church? Should we tell them that they should just “have faith is something” and that they will be alright? Should we tell them that they “all roads lead to heaven” despite any differences that we might have? No, a thousand times NO! This is what the Bible tells us to do:
For there is NO DIFFERENCE between the JEW and the GREEK: for the same LORD over all is rich unto ALL that call upon HIM. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be SAVED. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a PREACHER? And how shall they PREACH, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias (Isaiah) saith, LORD, who hath BELIEVED our report? So then FAITH cometh by hearing, and hearing by the WORD OF GOD. (Romans 10:12-17)
Those words were written by the Jewish apostle Paul, the former murderer of Christians, and the “chief of sinners” (1 Timothy 1:15) according to his own words. Paul made it clear that there was NO difference between the JEW and the GREEK, which is simply saying that the JEW and the GENTILE were in equal need of salvation. Paul made it clear that ANYONE who would call upon the Lord would be SAVED! That includes YOU dear reader, and do not be surprised if you are suddenly distracted as you are reading this, or if you suddenly remember something that you have to do right away because there is a ferocious battle going on for YOUR precious soul. Do not fall for the Devil’s LIE that your past life is too wicked, and that this salvation is for everyone EXCEPT YOU. The DEVIL is telling everyone else the same LIE! If the Lord could SAVE a murderous tyrant such as the Jewish apostle Paul, then he can SAVE YOU TOO!
Trust in Jesus Christ Alone and NOT “Mother” Mary
The Jewish apostle Paul and the Jewish apostle Peter would both have been REPULSED by the message from Pope Francis telling people to entrust themselves to Mary, the mother of Jesus:
” . . . Francis encouraged those present to remember that we, all baptised persons, are the Church, and must not be afraid to bear witness to this maternity. “LET US ENTRUST OURSELVES TO MARY”, he concluded, “so that SHE MAY TEACH US to have the same maternal spirit towards our brethren, with a sincere capacity to accept, forgive, give strength and infuse trust and hope”. Can you find ANYTHING in the Bible (the Word of God) that would lead a person to entrust themselves to Mary instead of Jesus Christ? Of course not, and the idea is absolutely ludicrous. Hear me now in this and don’t you ever forget this: Mary has absolutely NOTHING to do with the SALVATION of any soul, that has ever been born into this world of ours. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! It is the NAME of Jesus Christ that needs to be preached, and that NAME is the most hated and despised NAME in the world to this very day. It is a NAME that has been slandered, and used as a curse word in the media constantly, by some of the most vile men and women on planet earth. And yet, the Lord would still SAVE even those people IF they would simply repent and believe the gospel.
Before Jesus Christ was killed on the cross he preached about the Holy Spirit, and he made it clear that the Holy Spirit would testify of HIM, not Mary.
But the COMFORTER, which is the HOLY GHOST, whom the Father will send in my name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (John 14:26)
But when the COMFORTER is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the SPIRIT OF TRUTH, which proceedeth from the Father, HE shall TESTIFY OF ME: (John 15:26)
If Pope Francis is calling people to trust in “Mother Mary” then it is quite obvious that “Mother Mary” is the ONE in whom the Pope has put his trust. The Jewish apostle Peter (the first Pope?) spoke boldly regarding the NAME of Jesus Christ, and he made it clear that there was NO OTHER NAME by which ANY person, might be SAVED and it is the NAME of Jesus Christ. Mary has nothing to do with the SALVATION of any soul, and a true Christian knows that Mary could NOT intercede for them even if she wanted to, because she is NOT deity herself!
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of ISRAEL, that by the NAME of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth, WHOM YE CRUCIFIED, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. NEITHER is there SALVATION in ANY OTHER: for there is NONE other NAME under heaven given among men, whereby we must be SAVED. (Acts 4:10-12)
