The apostle Paul was known for his boldness, and he held nothing back when it came to the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Every time I read the following passage of scripture my soul is stirred. That is how it is for every true born again Christian who has come to know the Lord Jesus Christ in truth.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; (Romans 1:16-18)

Paul told us all that the gospel of Jesus Christ was the power of God unto salvation for both the Jew and the Greek (Gentile) and so it is. I love the simplicity of it all, and the way Paul just got right to the point. The very word salvation tells us that a person needs to be SAVED from something, and Paul tells us that the WRATH of God is revealed against the ungodliness and unrighteousness of men. None will be able to escape the wrath of God outside of FAITH in the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 3:36)  That is why Paul included both the Jew and the Gentile in this passage because that would include ALL mankind. Please do not forget the great mercy that was shown to this man Paul (formerly Saul), a man who humbly called himself the “chief of sinners” (1 Timothy 1:15) after he got saved. Paul truly appreciated what the Lord had done for him, considering the fact that he was on a warpath against anybody who would proclaim the name of Jesus Christ. (Acts 9) The great and awesome MERCY which the Lord had shown to Paul (Saul) should be a source of great comfort to any person both saved, and unsaved alike. Why? Because it shows us that the Lord is longsuffering and he is not willing that any should perish. If you are UNSAVED and know not the Lord, then know that He does not want you to perish! If you know the Lord but you have messed up, then remember the great mercy that was shown to Paul (Saul) repent and return unto the Lord, who will abundantly pardon you!

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)

I have testified on this blog of how the Lord delivered me out from the deception of Roman Catholicism and  I am not ashamed to say that either. Why? Because I, like Paul was a deceived man living a religious LIE until the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ came alive in my heart! I never knew the real Jesus Christ because the REAL Gospel was never preached inside the Roman Catholic Church! I was caught up in the traditions of men which included the Catholic Mass, along with the Priest and transubstantiation. I was caught up in praying my rosary and  my devotion to “Mother Mary.” Why? Because that was what I was taught to do! I kneeled before statues and I prayed before them because that was what I was taught to do. There used to be candles at the front of the church that a person could light to say a prayer. There were large white candles which cost a dollar (donation), and there were smaller red candles, which cost a quarter (donation). I remember visiting a Catholic Church that had similar candles at the front, but they were electronic for safety reasons. I remember inserting a quarter into the appropriate slot, and all of the other candles went out! There was obvious some sort of malfunction, but I remember having the thought of souls in Purgatory having their hope cut off at that instant. I was clearly living in SUPERSTITION and I continued that way for many years, because I never heard the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I am so grateful for what the Lord has done for me, and I know that it is my responsibility to tell others about Jesus Christ, as well as warn them about false teachings which would include the Roman Catholic Gospel. I do not care if  there are  millions of people (and there are) such as Billy Graham, Pat Robertson, Chuck Colson and Paul Crouch who compromise with the Roman Catholic Church, I am still going to preach the truth and tell others to come out of that system. I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and I will not suppress my testimony (regarding Rome) to please others. It was the Lord Himself who called me out of that system and it was that same Lord who told me to warn others! The compromisers of this modern day are only kidding themselves because the Lord is not in agreement with them. They will have to face Him on Judgment day (not me), and I rest in the fact theat the Word of God will back me up on that day!

I encourage all of you to read the quote from Keith Green on the right side of this blog, which came from the  Catholic Chronicles. I was not a Christian until 1989, long after Keith was killed in a plane crash along with others, but I tell you that Keith was so right on about Rome that it is not even funny. Keith wrote a series of articles called the Catholic Chronicles which were a crystal clear expose of Rome’s false teachings, which his wife Melody withdrew after he died. I am not surprised because the suffocating pressure to bend to Rome can be overwhelming. It is so sad that there are not more people like Keith who are not afraid to warn the people about Rome!.  We are living in a day when there is hardly a peep against Rome in most churches, and millions have been swallowed up in this modern day ecumenism.

I remember reading an article about a radio minister  named Marty Minto who was fired because he spoke out so boldly against Rome. Marty Minto was the senior Pastor of the Turning Point Community Church in New Castle, PA and he discussed the teachings of  the late Pope John Paul II after his death. Pastor Minto spoke about the former Pope’s devotion to Mary, as well as the Roman Catholic doctrine of Purgatory. Pastor Minto was told that he was “alienating listeners” and eventually fired. Wait a minute here! Did not Jesus tell us that we would be hated and persecuted for his name sake? (John 15:18-21) I commend Pastor Minto for his stand against the FALSE teachings of Rome, which is in such stark contrast, to the muddy waters that emanate from the Radio and Television “Christian” programs of this modern day.

During that same time frame when Pastor Minto was fired from his Radio job, Pat Robertson made this statement:

“I am deeply grieved as a great man passes from this world to his much deserved eternal reward. John Paul II has been the most beloved religious leader of our age – far surpassing in popular admiration the leader of any faith . . .I pray for the Cardinals of the Catholic Church that they might have God-given wisdom in selecting the successor to this great man . . .” [CBN.com Virginia Beach, VA – April 2, 2005]

Sorry Pat, but the Lord was not even in your prayer. The God given wisdom that the Roman Catholic Church needs is found in the Bible, which they tried to keep out of the hands of the common people for centuries. Millions have been slain and burnt at the stake fighting against the very same FALSE doctrines that they still adhere to today! Here is what Chuck Colson had to say after the Pope died:

“Pope John Paul II was one of the truly heroic figures of the 20th century . . .I had the honor of meeting his Holiness, and I have been a part of a fellowship called evangelicals and Catholics together . . .” [Prison fellowship Newsroom, Press Kit, washington, April 2, 2005]

As far as I know, the late Chuck Colson’s wife is a Roman Catholic, and he was one of the initiators of the ECT (Evangelicals and Catholics Together) Document of 1994.

Folks you have heard the truth here today in this article, and I encourage you to warn others about this demonic deception that has swept many millions away in recent times.

If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works? (Proverbs 24:11-12)
