In the book of Ezekiel chapter 43 we find the following verse:

And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a SIN offering. (Ezekiel 43:19)

In his study notes for Ezekiel 43:19 the Scofield Bible declares the following.

Doubtless these offerings will be memorial, looking back to the cross, as the offerings under the old covenant were anticipatory, looking forward to the cross. In neither case have animal sacrifices power to put away sin. Heb 10:4; Rom 3:25

Mr Scofield believed in a future Jewish Temple that would be rebuilt, and he insisted that the sacrifices in that Temple would be memorial in nature. His teachings are shared by many of the “famous Christian ministries” of our day also. That interpretation by Mr Scofield has gotten over on millions in our time. That verse tells us that a young bullock (bull) would be sacrificed for a SIN offering, by priests, who were of the lineage of Zadok. A SIN offering was done for the purpose of expiating SIN. It was the BLOOD from those sacrifices that would atone for the sins of the people. Ezekiel never mentioned this sacrifice of a bullock as being memorial in nature at all.  All of the sacrifices in the Old Covenant were shadows, or types, which pointed forward to the perfect and final sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

This type of teaching is  a smack in the face to the finished perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross! That is going backwards, and not forward! That is returning to the SHADOW after the REALITY (Jesus Christ) has come!  Do not be fooled by Scofield (and his Bible), and similar teachings. Go back to the Bible and take Jesus at his word!

In fact the Bible teaches us that God HAD NO PLEASURE in the animal sacrifices. If God HAD NO PLEASURE in the animal sacrifices, why would He allow them to be set up again? It is the Christians who are being SET UP by the Devil himself, because they CHOOSE to FOLLOW MAN and NOT the Lord! The whole point of the Bible was to point us to Jesus Christ the Son of God! If people are still looking to set up a Temple, then it only reinforces the TRUTH that they still REJECT Jesus Christ! The whole Christian walk is a walk of FAITH, and it has nothing to do with sacrificing animals as a MEMORIAL!  The DEATH of Christ is a FINISHED work! Do not be FOOLED by the Dispensational scripture twisters. Remember that these teachings came along fairly recently in the 1800′s when other “cultlike” teachings such as the Watchtower Society (Jehovah’s Witnesses) and the Mormons also came along. Folks take heed to what you are hearing here. 

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, NEITHER HADST PLEASURE THEREIN; which are offered by the law; Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. (Hebrews 10:4-9)

Four different times we find the term “his own blood” in the Bible, referring to the BLOOD of Jesus Christ which can justify the ungodly from their sins. How dare any preacher (including C.I. Scofield) tell anybody, that there will be a future animal sacrificial sin offering before Almighty God. If people do not receive the truth about the FINAL and perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ they will spend eternity in Hell! God does not need any kind of animals to be sacrificed to remind you of the awesome death of His Son. There are millions throughout the world in false religious systems that attempt to atone for their sins all to no avail, because God will only accept the one time sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ! Here are the four references that I mentioned earlier:

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with HIS OWN BLOOD. (Acts 20:28)

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by HIS OWN BLOOD he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (Hebrews 9:12)

Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with HIS OWN BLOOD, suffered without (outside) the gate. (Hebrews 13:12)

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in HIS OWN BLOOD, (Revelation 1:5)

People need to know that there will never be another sacrifice which will satisfy the justice of Almighty God, outside the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. I have said it many times, and I will say it again. Preach the Gospel to the Jewish people EXACTLY the way that you preach it to the Gentiles, because there is absolutely no difference between those two groups in the sight of Almighty God. There are tons of pastors who should not even be in their pulpits today, because they have never even ONCE addressed the need for the Jewish people to repent and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ like anybody else. Satan has ensnared them with a FEAR of being labeled Anti Semitic, and so they hold back the truth that can set the Jewish people free. Take Jesus Christ at his word. He knew that the Jewish people needed to repent just like everybody else. He wept over Jerusalem because of their rebellion against him:

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! (Luke 13:34)

Do you think that there will be even ONE person in this world that will escape the judgment of Almighty God, if they reject his very own Son, whom he sent to die for our sins? Folks, it is not going to happen. Millions of Christians have their ears tickled by preachers who soft soap the Gospel, week after week, and refuse to warn their people about an eternal Hell. Any person who rejects Jesus Christ will spend eternity in Hell. You will not hear that preached in the majority of churches today. Folks listen to the message that Jesus told his followers to preach. He was standing before them, after he had risen from the dead, with the fatal wounds visible for all to see.

And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be FULFILLED, which were written in the law of MOSES, and in the PROPHETS, and in the PSALMS, concerning ME. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among ALL nations, beginning at Jerusalem. (Luke 24:44-47)

That was the message that Jesus told his followers (and us) to preach and there is no other message to preach. A shadow is a shadow, and a type is a type, but the REALITY and the FULFILLMENT is found in Jesus Christ.

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. (Hebrews 10:5-13)

There is not a sacrifice today that will ever atone and satisfy the justice of God, outside the cross. That sacrifice took place at an historical place in time. It is finished (John 19:30) and God does not need any memorial sacrificial offerings for anybody, or from anybody. The LAW revealed the SIN of the people (Romans 3:19-20) and the LAW silenced every person from justifying themselves before a Holy and righteous God. When Jesus finished his job, he sat down at the right hand of his Father in Heaven. It is unfortunate that many throughout the world still go through their religious rituals and traditions, attempting to appease the justice of God, when He already did that through His only Son!

For when we were yet without strength, in due time CHRIST died for the UNGODLY. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But GOD commendeth his LOVE toward us, in that, while we were yet SINNERS, CHRIST died for US. Much more then, being now JUSTIFIED by his BLOOD, we shall be SAVED from WRATH through HIM. (Romans 5:6-9)

Testimony of William Cox: Former Scofield Bible Follower

I listened as Mr Brog spoke in a room filled with people claiming to be Christians.  He told them that their Christian theology demands that they stand with Israel.  I knew where he was coming from and I am fully aware of what is being taught in many evangelical churches today.  I used to believe certain dispensational teachings, such as the land belonging to Israel, because that’s what was being taught in most churches.  However my further study of the scriptures revealed otherwise.  I never believed for a moment that a person Jewish or Gentile could be saved apart from faith in Jesus Christ.  I had no idea that many of the Bible teachers taught that the Jewish people were still God’s chosen people and that they are still in covenant with him, even though they do not believe that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah).

In recent years , I have been hearing  Bible teachers talk about the church of Jesus Christ as being a mere parenthesis in God’s plan and that the Jewish people are under a different covenant.  I came across an article by the Christian Research Institute regarding Pastor John Hagee, which was Statement DH005. Here are a few excerpts from that statement:

“Trying to convert Jews is a waste of time he (Hagee) said.

Everyone else whether Buddhist or Baha’i needs to believe in Jesus, he says. But not Jews, Jews already have a covenant with God that has never been replaced with Christianity he says.

The Jewish people have a relationship with God through the law of God as given through Moses, Hagee said. I believe that every Gentile person can only come to God through the cross of Christ. I believe that every Jewish person who lives in light of the Torah, which is the word of God, has a relationship with God and will come to redemption.

The Law of Moses is sufficient enough to bring a person into the knowledge of God until God gives him a greater revelation. And God has not said Hagee.”

SALVATION FOR THE JEW

ACCORDING TO JESUS CHRIST

It is absolutely amazing to me that John Hagee could make such statements as those above considering the overwhelming proof in God’s Word that contradict what he said.  The greatest revelation that God has given to the Jewish people and the rest of the world is found in Jesus Christ. In other words Jesus Christ is God’s last word to mankind, and that most certainly includes the Jewish people. Listen to what Jesus Christ said to the Jewish people of his time:

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. (John 5:39-40)

To totally understand the impact of the words above, we must not forget that the one who is speaking is Jesus Christ.  Many do not realize that the word CHRIST actually means MESSIAH. So it is Jesus the Messiah who is doing the talking.  Jesus is the one who was sent from the Father above to preach the Kingdom of God, and ultimately become the BLOOD ATONEMENT for the sin of mankind.

Jesus the Messiah encouragedthe Jewish people to search the scriptures (their very own Torah) because they thought they had eternal life. Jesus then made it clear to them that their own Torah testified about him, but they still would not come to him, that they might have life.  Please do not miss this folks, because Jesus was telling the Jewish people that the very life and salvation which they desired, could only be found in him. Jesus went on to say this to them:

Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? (John 5:45-47)

Jesus was pushing home the same point once again, that the scriptures (the Torah, the books of Moses) had enough in them to show that he (Jesus) was the prophesied Messiah. That is why Jesus told them, that if they believed Moses then they would have naturally believed him. In the New Testament book of Acts there is a portion of scripture that will help us understand this better:

For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days. Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities. (Acts 3:22-26)

The words above were spoken by the apostle Peter to the people of Israel after the miraculous healing of a lame man at the temple gate. Peter told the people of Israel that the man was healed by the power of Jesus Christ. Peter then told them that this same Jesus was “the Prophet” whom Moses spoke and wrote about in (Deuteronomy 18:15-18), and that those who would not“hear that Prophet” (Jesus the Christ) would be destroyed!  Peter then went on to say that all of the prophets (in the Old Covenant scriptures) foretold of the days which were taking place right then and there. Peter then went all the way back to Abraham to show the people that all the people of the earth (that includes absolutely everybody) would be blessed through Abraham’s seed (offspring)  and that seed (offspring)  is Jesus Christ.

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of ONE, And to thy SEED, which is CHRIST. (Galatians 3:16)

In plain and simple language, the Jewish apostle Paul  told the people that Jesus Christ was, and is, the promised seed (offspring) by whom ALL of the nations of the world would be blessed. Paul told them the very same thing that Peter told the people of Israel after that awesome miracle.  The whole of the Old Covenant scriptures pointed to the time when Jesus the Christ (Messiah) arrived on the scene.  The message that Peter gave regarding that “Prophet” is right in line with the salvation or damnation message that Jesus gave after he rose from the dead. (Mark 16:15-20) The words of Jesus Christ below, become absolutely meaningless if a Jewish person could be saved without faith in Jesus Christ, by living in light of the Torah.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

Jesus declared that NO MAN would be able to come to the Father unless thay came through him, because the Father is the one who sent him.  That means that there will not be any person Jewish or Gentile (the rest of the world) who would be able to go to the Father (in heaven) unless they come though the Son whom he sent. Peter spoke along those very same lines when he spoke to the people of Israel:

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:10-12)

Could the scriptures be any clearer than this? The people of Israel are being addressed here by the apostle Peter and he told them that there was no other name by which they might be saved outside the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Read it again. Peter was speaking to the children of Israel there and the message that he gave them back then has not changed one drop since that time!

The passage below was written by the Jewish apostle Paul:

But God forbid that I should glory, save (except) in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. (Galatians 6:14-16)

Paul made it clear in that passage of scripture that he gloried only in the cross of Jesus Christ, and then he linked those who would walk according to that same rule to the “Israel of God.”  Paul also wrote the following:

Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: (Romans 9:6)

Paul was obviously putting a difference between the people of ethnic Israel and those of the “Israel of God” who recognized Jesus as the Messiah!

David Brog stated, at the CUFI convention the other night, that Christian theology demands that Christians stand with Israel. I would like to tell Mr. Brog that my theology demands that I stand for the truth, and that I preach the gospel to both Jew and Gentile. My Christian theology tells me that David Brog needs to repent and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, or he will die in his own sins. Any Gospel preacher who is worth their salt would tell him the same thing.  Jesus declared the truth plainly and with boldness and to water down the message of the gospel is a fatal mistake:

And he (Jesus) said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. (John 8:23-24)

The Lord Jesus Christ told the Jewish people of his day that he came from above (heaven), and that the consequences of not believing that he was the one who was sent from the Father (the Messiah), would be to die in their sins. The plain and simple truth is that every person who sat at that convention, whether Jew or Gentile, who rejects Jesus Christ as their Savior, will die in their sins and end up in hell. To preach anything other than that is to preach a bogus gospel. If ever there was a people who are responsible before the Lord it is the Jewish people. To declare that God has not given them the necessary revelation is nothing less than mind boggling.The Jewish apostle Paul consented to the murder of Christians before he was saved (Acts 8:3, 22:4, 26:9-11).  He then made a complete about face and preached that Jesus was the Christ (Messiah). He wrote the following words:

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16)

Paul, the Jewish apostle of Jesus Christ, tells us that the gospel was to go the Jew first. In fact Paul identified those who are the children of Abraham:

Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. (Galatians 3:7)

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:28-29)

That very same Jewish apostle Paul told us that there is absolutely no difference between the Jew and the Greek (Gentile).  No difference! The only ones who can be called the children of Abraham are those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ. John Hagee spoke about the Jewish people living in light of the Torah, but the Torah contains the Ten Commandments which stops and silences any person from justifying themself before a righteous God! (Romans 3:19-20) In fact the Torah contains everything about the sacrificial system which is gone forever. The Bible declares that there is NO atonement for the soul without the blood.

THE NEW COVENANT 

REPLACED THE OLD COVENANT

Right before the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross, he cried out “It Is Finished” (John 19:30) which means that everything had been fulfilled at that moment, and his death was the perfect and final sacrifice for sin. It was at that very moment that the veil in the Jewish Temple was torn in half, signifying that the Old Covenant sacrificial sytem was to be no more.

And the veil of the temple was rent in twain (two) from the top to the bottom. And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God. (Mark 15:38-39)

Where is the Jewish Temple today? It is not to be found and there can be no atonement for the sins of the people without the shedding of blood.  The Temple sacrifices were not accepted in the sight of God after the ultimate, final and perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ. That was the very purpose of the veil in the Temple being torn on half when Christ died. The high priest went into the temple and entered through the veil once a year, on the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur-The Day of Covering).  The high priest took the blood from the animal sacrifices and sprinkled it on the mercy seat for the atonement of sin. But all of that stopped in the sight of God when Jesus, the great high Priest, entered into the true holy place in heaven.

For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. (Leviticus 17:11)

The Old Covenant has been completely done away with and if somebody tells you something else then they are preaching falsehood to you. All of the sacrifices pointed to Jesus Christ. The Passover pointed to Jesus Christ also and that is why John the Baptist referred to Jesus as the Lamb of God:

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. (John 1:29)

Paul the Jewish apostle of Jesus Christ wrote the following words almost two thousand years ago:

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his BLOOD we shall be saved from wrath through him. (Romans 5:8-9)

The blood that was shed by Jesus Christ is now the ONLY blood that can reconcile a sinner back to God. Friends, that is the absolute Bible truth.  That was the very purpose Jesus Christ came to this world. The gospel message is still for both the Jew and the Gentile, but there is no special revelation or reservation for the “ethnic” Jewish person when it comes to salvation. In fact if there were a special revelation or reservation for the Jewish person, then everything that Jesus Christ preached meant absolutely nothing. If a fair minded person will read through the gospel accounts they will see that Christ was dealing with the issues of the heart, and he was constantly rebuking the Jewish Pharisees for their outward form of religion.  The Jewish apostle Paul wrote the following also:

For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. (Romans 2:28-29)

It all has to do with the heart and nothing to do with a persons ethnic background. Jesus told Nicodemus, a Jewish ruler, that he needed to be born again or he would not see the Kingdom of God. Jesus did not say maybe, or could be, or should be, but MUST BE! The Kingdom of God is open to all people on planet earth, and their sins can be forgiven through the BLOOD of Jesus Christ.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (John 3:6-7)

BEWARE OF THE LEAVEN OF THE PHARISEES

John Hagee mentioned the fact that Christians are the wild branches that have been grafted into the  good olive tree, and he was obviously referring to the verses from Romans Chapter 11.  I am in full agreement with the truth that the Jewish people represent the good olive tree, but please do not forget to mention that this is speaking about the Jewish people who followed the Lord and recognized the Messiah when he came. The Jewish people who did not recognize the Messiah were broken off  branches because they rejected the very one whom God the Father sent!

The Gentile people who have put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ have been grafted into the “good olive tree” and they are there along with the Jewish people who also believe in Jesus and recognize him as the Messiah.  For the past two thousand years Jewish people have received the very SAME Grace that the Gentiles have recieved and they have received eternal life in Jesus Christ. There is NO difference between the Jew and the Gentile.

Beware of the phrase “replacement theology” because it is a term which is often used by Christian Zionists, (and the UNSAVED Jews also) which seeks to make those who oppose their FALSE theology as being Antisemitic! Do not be intimidated by that term, because the Lord Jesus Christ is the searcher of hearts and he knows what is going on inside your heart. You can also take comfort in the truth that you will NEVER find TRUE CHRISTIANS working hand in hand at Political meetings with UNSAVED, unbelieving Jews in the New Testament. In fact the whole thought is completely absurd. Study the scriptures for yourself and you will always find the Jewish believers preaching the Gospel, and being persecuted by the UNSAVED Jews!  If you are a TRUE Bible believing born-again Christian, I encourage you to escape from that political type of religion which has permeated the church in the last days. Christians are being bamboozled and steamrolled by the UNSAVED Jews in a way that is absolutely incredible. The  UNSAVED Jewish people have an ANTICHRIST spirit, and they should be worried about leaving this world without salvation in Jesus, whom they still boldly reject as being the Christ (Messiah) and Son of God!

BIBLICAL WARNINGS

ABOUT AN ANTICHRIST SPIRIT

To declare that the Jewish people can still be in covenant with the Lord under the Old Covenant, living in light of the Torah,  is to agree with the Pharisees who rejected Jesus Christ two thousand years ago.  To declare that message is to oppose the very message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Not only that but the apostle John warned us about those who have an “antichrist spirit” and he described them as follows:

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. (1 John 2:22)

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (1 John 4:3)

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. (2 John 1:7)

If you were to ask many of the Jewish people who were present at that convention meeting the other night, whether or not they believed that Jesus Christ was the promised Messiah, they would answer no without any problem at all.  The very reason that the Jewish apostles were persecuted and put to death by people like Paul (before he was saved) was because they preached Jesus Christ as the Messiah! So here we are almost two thousand years later, being told by a “Christian” minister that the Jewish people can be saved by living in light of the Torah. Once again I tell you that it makes the gospel message that Peter and Paul preached, and all the others preached, seem like a waste of time. After Paul was converted the Jewish people wanted to kill him, but the Lord preserved him. Many times Paul was beaten to a pulp, and even left for dead, but the Lord kept using him for his glory. In fact if Paul were a “bug on the wall” at that convention meeting he would have been aghast at what he heard.

IS WAR ON THE HORIZON?

Toward the end of this one hour television program, there was a man dressed in an Israeli miltary uniform who walked out from the audience, up to the front of the room, and then knelt down to pray. He was wearing a prayer shawl of some sort over his head. Then another man dressed in an American military uniform came from the audience and tapped the praying Israeli soldier on the shoulder, offered his hand to him , and they shook hands. Is there a message being sent here? What was this supposed to mean? Could this be a statement being made here? Is this some type of propaganda? Could there be another war on the horizon?

John Hagee is the Pastor of the Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas. He can be seen all over the airwaves throughout the world.  His preaching is often accompanied by very colorful video graphics which appear on a screen behind him.  He is known to preach against what he calls ”Isalmo Fascism” in no uncertain terms.  I thought that I was hearing things when I heard him talk in favor of a pre emptive attack on Iran. Wait a minute, did I hear correctly? Please tell me if I heard wrong.  Can we as Christians rightly call for an attack upon any nation, which would most certainly end up killing innocent civilians? What on earth is going on here?  What about the words of the master teacher and Saviour of the world Jesus:

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; (Matthew 5:44)

Do you remember when the band of men came looking for Jesus at the place in the garden where he usually prayed? Do you remember what Peter did to Malchus?

Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus. (John 18:10)

Sometime you can read a Bible verse and miss what really happened. Peter did not politely walk up to Malchus and start slicing his ear off.  It is quite obvious that Peter went to take the guys head off with a wild swing, and caught only his ear. But what did Jesus do after that? Jesus actually healed the guys ear! (Luke 22:51) and then he made a prophetic statement:

Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.  Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be? (Matthew 26:52-54)

What about the words of Jesus Christ as he was dying on the cross?

And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. (Luke 23:33-34)

Sometimes we must take a few steps back and analyze what is going on, and ask ourselves the question, Is this the Spirit of Jesus Christ at work here? Is it the Spirit of Jesus Christ that is calling for an attack against a nation or is it a “another spirit?”  Is it the spirit of Jesus that would call for an attack upon innocent Muslim people or is it “another spirit”? Where is the fear of the Lord in all of this?

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. (John 18:36)

Only time will tell what is going to happen in the following days.  We need to keep our eyes on the Lord like never before.  One thing I do know is that the Lord is merciful and that he abhors the killing of innocent people, and we have seen more than enough of that in recent years. That is what has stirred me to write this article. As Christians we like to take our stand on pro life issues such as abortion ( I am also pro life), but then we don’t even blink an eye when hundreds of thousands of Iraqi Muslim people are killed.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. (2 Corinthians 10:4)

Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. (Hebrews 13:13-14)

THE JERUSALEM WHICH IS ABOVE

The scriptures tell us that HERE (on this earth) we have NO continuing city, and that includes the earthly city of Jerusalem. We, as Christians, are looking to the Jerusalem which is above (Galatians 4:26), not to the city in the Middle East.

But Jerusalem which is above is FREE, which is the mother of us all. (Galatians 4:26)

The Lord Jesus Christ had a conversation with a Samaritan woman, who was amazed that Jesus was even talking with her, because the Jewish people and the Samaritan people did not get along with each other. Jesus talked to her about true worship:

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship:for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias (Messiah) cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee AM HE (John 4:21-26)

The Lord made it ever so clear to this woman that physical location did not matter anymore, because God must be worshiped in spirit and truth. Jesus said the hour was coming AND NOW IS when true worshipers would worship God in spirit and truth, which means that the hour had already arrived. The Lord Jesus Christ then went on to inform this woman that he was in fact the Messiah. Now either Jesus was telling the truth or he is a liar.  If Jesus declared to this woman that he was in fact the Messiah, and that the hour had arrived when people could worship him from anywhere in the world, then I would not dare to tamper with the word of God.  That same Samaritan woman went back to her town and brought others back to hear Jesus for themselves and, as a result, many were saved.

And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him (Jesus) for the saying of the woman, which testified, He (Jesus) told me all that ever I did. So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. And many more believed because of his own word; And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. (John 4:39-42)

The same living waters (spiritual) that Jesus offered to this Samaritan woman has been offered to both Jew and Gentile alike, for nearly two thousand years.  There is no postponement, no other covenant, no other way, but the way which God has provided through his Son Jesus Christ.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. (2 Corinthians 11:3-4)

Thank you… I wept as reading this post, but that statement spoke to me personally. I cannot tell you the tears I have shed in prayer over this entire Christian Zionist movement. At first it confused me…but the more I read about it and poured through the scriptures, the more ‘wrong’ it appeared to be.

To be honest, I just plain didn’t get it!

The Lord has had me working on a couple Christian boards/forums for some years now..and it seemed every time I tried to point out what I saw as error in this, either my comments were ignored or someone would come back replying about replacement theology.

I began to doubt myself…wondering if it was me who was wrong, even crying before the Lord asking him to search my heart in case I had even a tinge of antisemitism lurking within. I never ‘thought’ I did…but wanted to be sure.

Years ago I believe the Spirit of God showed me there were to be many ‘faces’ to the apostasy and last day delusion…many layers, like an onion.

That Satan would slip in teachings and error, which would not be as obvious, as the ones which stick out like a sore thumb today.

This is one of those layers…I’m convinced.

The word ANTICHRIST is mentioned four different times by the apostle John in the Bible, and I am going to take a look at all four of those references. We can get a very good understanding of what the ANTICHRIST spirit is all about by studying these scripture verses. Keep in mind that these verses are in the Bible for a reason. John gave them to us for our instruction, and it is up to each individual to do what they want with them.

Here are four references from the Bible that mention the word ANTICHRIST.

Reference Number One

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (1 John 4:3)

Plain and simple, this verse is telling us that those who refuse to believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came down from above, was manifested in the flesh, and was in fact the promised Mesiah is of an ANTICHRIST spirit.

Reference Number Two

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. (2 John 1:7)

In this verse John describes those who do not believe that Jesus Christ came in the flesh, as DECEIVERS, along with the same desciption from before of ANTICHRIST.

Reference Number Three

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. (1 John 2:22)

This verse is very clear in telling us that those who deny that Jesus is the Christ is ANTICHRIST, denying both the Father and the Son. Many people do not realize that the word CHRIST actually means MESSIAH.

So John is telling us that those who do not believe that Jesus is the MESSIAH are not only of an ANTICHRIST spirit, but John calls them liars.

This would apply to any person [Jewish or Gentile], who lives anywhere in the world.

If a person refuses to believe that Jesus Christ came in the flesh to this earth, and that He is in fact the CHRIST [MESSIAH], they would be indentified as having an ANTICHRIST spirit.

The word ANTICHRIST in the Greek is ANTICHRISTOS, which means “opponent of MESSIAH.”

So John has already told us that those of an ANTICHRIST spirit are deceivers and liars.

Reference Number Four

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. (1 John 2:18 )

Here John is telling us that there were many in his day who had an ANTICHRIST spirit. That was almost two thousand years ago and the same could be said for today, because the majority of people in the world do not believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and the promised Messiah.

Now I want you to take a look at some more scripture references from this same apostle John that flow right along with what we are talking about.

He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (1 John 5:10-12)

Here John tells us that those who do not believe the record [testimony] that God has given us of His Son, have made Him [God] a LIAR. Folks this is some very serious language that the apostle John is using here.

Should that message be watered down for anybody?

Should that message be sugarcoated to please people?

I believe that the Bible is the Word of God, and I believe that those words stand as true today as they did when John spoke them.

Now lets talk about the people in the modern State of Israel. I know that I am not misrepresenting them by saying that the majority of people who are living in Israel, as well as around the world, do not believe that Jesus is the Christ [MESSIAH]

I realize that the majority of Gentiles do not believe that Jesus is the MESSIAH either, but I am dealing with the modern State of Israel because the modern day “church,” with its Christian Zionism, is working hand in hand with them. This is absolutely an UNEQUAL YOKING according to the Word of God.

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? (2 Corinthians 6:14-15)

I believe that this modern day Christian Zionist movement is one of the most deceptive, delusional masterpieces that Satan has ever invented.

The apostle John poured out his heart in warning his fellow believers about those who were of an ANTICHRIST spirit, and here in this modern day the “Christians” are joining hands with them, instead of preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them.

The Gospel message still stands true today for both Jewish and Gentile. This Gospel message has been flowing for nearly 2000 years and it started at Jerusalem, and it has been going to the uttermost parts of the earth ever since. A person is either for Christ or they are against Christ [ANTICHRIST], but there is no neutral ground when it comes to the Gospel.

A person who has been truly born again of the Spirit is now part of the Kingdom of God. We are new creations in Jesus Christ. Our wretched souls have been redeemed from an eternal Hell by the blood of Jesus Christ.

It is now our desire that all men should come to repentance and a living faith in Jesus Christ.

And yet there are those such as John Hagee of Cornerstone Church in Texas who have called for a preemptive attack on Iran, as if God desires to destroy those people.

Where is the mercy of God in all of that? Are the souls of those people who live in Iran any less precious than those who live in Israel, or any other place in the world?

Where is the Spirit of Jesus Christ in that? It is not there folks!

My sweet Jesus said this to His followers [in RED]:

And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went to another village. (Luke 9:54-56)

Yes, there will always be wars and there will always be political corruption, but the Christian has a different Master, and His name is Jesus, and our weapons are not fleshly but spiritual.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. (2 Corinthians 10:3-4)

Join hands with an ANTICHRIST spirit if you like, but I think I will pass on that one.  I’ll pass simply because I know that one day I too will stand before the One who was butchered on a bloody cross, and I still take Him at His word.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16-18 )

Trying to convert Jews is a “waste of time,” he [Hagee] said. . . .

Everyone else, whether Buddhist or Baha’i, needs to believe in Jesus, he says. But not Jews. Jews already have a covenant with God that has never been replaced with Christianity, he says.

“The Jewish people have a relationship to God through the law of God as given through Moses,” Hagee said. “I believe that every Gentile person can only come to God through the cross of Christ. I believe that every Jewish person who lives in the light of the Torah, which is the word of God, has a relationship with God and will come to redemption.

“The law of Moses is sufficient enough to bring a person into the knowledge of God until God gives him a greater revelation. And God has not,” said Hagee

“There are right now Jewish people on this earth who have a powerful and special relationship with God,” declares Hagee in one of his books. “They have been chosen by the ‘election of grace’ in which God does what he does without asking man to approve or understand it. Let us put an end to the Christian chatter that “all the Jews are lost” and can’t be in the will of God until they convert to Christianity! . . . there are a certain number of Jews in relationship with God right now through divine election.”

Hagee also affirms: “If God blinded the Jewish people to the identity of Jesus as Messiah, how could He send them to hell for not seeing what he had forbidden them to see?”

It is incredible that more people do not speak out against the “ministries” of people such as John Hagee (and many others) and the false teachings that proceed forth from them. Any person who has been truly born again of the Spirit, and who is a new creation in Jesus Christ, and who reads their Bible, would have to say there is something drastically wrong with Hagee’s theology. When I read the new Testament (Covenant) I learn about Jesus Christ as being the fulfillment of ALL of the Old Testament prophecies. In fact the Bible tells us that God had previously spoke to us through the “father” and by the “prophets” but has spoken to us in “these last days” by His Son, Jesus Christ.

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his SON, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; (Hebrews 1:1-3)

Any true Bible believing, born again believer in Jesus Christ, knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that Jesus Christ is absolutely the only way of salvation for every person in the world, whether they be Jew or Gentile. For John Hagee to make statements such as those quoted here from the Christian Research Institute Statement DH005 is in direct contradiction to the teachings of the Bible (God’s Word). Here is a statement from Jesus Christ Himself to the Jewish people of his day:

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which TESTIFY OF ME. And ye will not COME TO ME, that ye might have life. (John 5:39-40)

That statement by the Lord Jesus Christ to the Jewish people of His time still stands true today. The Lord was simply telling them that their own scriptures which included the books of Moses, the prophets and the Psalms testified about Him, and yet they refused to come to Him for LIFE. Jesus was talking about eternal LIFE, and ultimately Heaven. That is the clear message of that verse, and it was and is the clear message that Christ spoke to the Jewish people of His time. Here is another statement from the Lord Jesus Christ to the Jewish people of His time:

I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to KILL ME, because my word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to KILL ME, a man that hath told you the TRUTH, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would LOVE ME: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of  YOUR FATHER the DEVIL, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. (John 8:37-45)

Do not miss what is being said here folks, because this is a plain and simple rebuke to the modern day false dispensational teachers of our day.The Lord was in conversation with the religious Jewish leaders, and He told them that He was aware that they were of the lineage of Abraham. He then made it clear to them that He (Jesus) was following His Father (God the Father), and that they followed their own father. Jesus flat out told the Jewish religious leaders who REJECTED Him, that the Devil was their Father! Folks those are the words of Jesus Christ, the creator of ALL things (John 1:1-3) You will rarely hear a Preacher, Pastor or Ministry leader ever quote those words from the eighth chapter of John, out of pure fear of offending the Jewish people. Those words still stand true today for both the Jewish people who reject Christ, and the rest of mankind (Gentiles) who reject Him also. The Lord told the Jewish people that if God were their Father, then they would have LOVED HIM, because God was the very one who SENT HIM! The pride of being called “Abraham’s children”was something that was common in the Lord’s time and it is still common today. The Lord dealt with that and He pulled no punches with them either. John the Baptist did the exact same thing when he noticed the Jewish religious leaders coming to be baptized by him.

Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. (Matthew 3:5-10)

John the Baptist flat out told the Jewish religious crowd that they were snakes (vipers). He told them that they should not say within themselves that Abraham was their Father, because God could turn stones into children of Abraham if he so desired. The bottom line was that John was dealing with their religious pride of being of being from the lineage of Abraham.

Lets take another look at John Hagee’s incredible statement:

“I believe that every Gentile person can only come to God through the cross of Christ. I believe that every Jewish person who lives in the light of the Torah, which is the word of God, has a relationship with God and will come to redemption.”

That statement by John Hagee is an absolute smack in the face of Jesus Christ and a betrayal of the Gospel itself.  Jesus Christ was slain on the cross for our sins, and it is only HIS BLOOD that will justify any human being on earth before Him. (Romans 5:6-10) Hagee has a DIFFERENT plan of salvation for the Jewish people who live in light of the Torah.  Jesus made it clear in the passage above (John 5:39-40) that the Torah testified about HIM, and yet they (the Jewish people) would not come to HIM for salvation! The majority of Jewish people then, and now, do not believe that Jesus is the Messiah, and they do not believe that Christ (Messiah) has come in the flesh. Once again I encourage any true Bible believing Christian to study the scriptures for themselves, and you will see how the Lord Jesus Christ made it clear to the Jewish people that He was the only way of salvation. Hagee’s statement that a Jewish person can live in “light of the Torah” and be in a right relationship with God is outright false. The scriptures make it clear that there is not a person in the world whom the Law does not convict of their own sin, and the only atonement which God honors and recognizes is that BLOOD ATONEMENT provided by Jesus Christ!

Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. (Romans 3:19-20)

The Law of God shows both the Jew and the Gentile that they are GUILTY before God in no uncertain terms. That would include the Jewish man, Mr David Brog who is the Executive Director and a speaker at the most recent CUFI (Christians United For Israel) meeting. That would also include Mr Benjamin Netanyahu a leader in Israel, who is digging in his heels  as the controversy over land continues.

But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; (Romans 3:21-25)

The ONLY righteousness that God honors is that righteousness which is found in his Son Jesus Christ. Nothing else can be called righteousness outside of faith in Jesus Christ. Here is another excerpt from the CRI (Christian Research Institute) Statement DH005 regarding John Hagee:

God has not entirely rejected Israel, however ; He has preserved a remnant (Rom. 11:5). Paul (himself a Jew) is living proof of this (Rom. 11:1).  Elsewhere the apostle writes, “. . . by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His [God’s] sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin. . . . for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus” (Rom. 3:20, 23-24, emphasis added).

To drive the point home, Paul goes on to say, “. . . the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would be heir of the world was not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if those who are of the Law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise nullified; . . . it is by faith, that it might be in accordance with grace” (Rom. 4:13-14, 16). Scripture draws no distinction between Jews and Gentiles on the issue of salvation, which is attained by grace through faith alone in Christ, “apart from works of the law” (3:28; cf. vv. 21-22).

Paul recognized that the Jews of his day had a misguided zeal that caused them to stumble on this very point (9:31-32; 10:2-4). Why would he suffer great anguish and wish he were accursed for Israel’s sake if none of them were truly lost?  His anguish comes from the realization that many Israelites are not saved (Rom. 9:3, 6, 27; 10:1, 9-15; cf. Acts 2:14, 21, 37-39; Rom. 11:14, 17-23).

John Hagee has also stated recently in one of his books that the Jewish people did not reject Jesus as the Messiah. The CRI (Christian Research Institute) Statement DH005 dealt with that part of his theology also:

In Hagee’s theology, the Jews can hardly be faulted for not flocking to Christianity since it was supposedly Jesus who declined their request for Him to be their Messiah. “The [Jewish] people wanted Him to be their Messiah, but He absolutely refused,” writes Hagee. “The Jews were not rejecting Jesus as Messiah, it was Jesus who was refusing to be the Messiah to the Jews!”

Jesus’ explicit claim to be the Messiah (or Christ) during His trial before the Sanhedrin, the supreme Jewish tribunal (Matt. 26:64), flatly contradicts Hagee’s assertion. In that same passage, Jesus called Himself the “Son of Man,” an unmistakable reference to the Messiah , found in the Book of Daniel (7:13) . Jesus also applied the same title to Himself in revealing His identity to “a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council” (John 3:1, 14-15), as well as to the crowd who questioned His authority to forgive sins (Mark 2:10).

Further, in response to Jesus’ question, “Who do you say I am?” (Matt. 16:15), Peter answered, “You are the Christ [Messiah]” (v. 16). Surely, had the Jewish apostle been wrong, Jesus would have corrected him at that moment; instead, Peter received the Lord’s blessing (v. 17).18   Although Jesus on occasion gave public indications of His messiahship (cf. Luke 4:17-21; 20:41-44), He  instructed Peter and  others  not to reveal His messianic identity until due time (v. 20). He did so to avoid the prevalent misconceptions about the title, which had by then become largely understood in political terms19  — something wholly inappropriate for Jesus’ mission at that time.

Hagee’s view is made especially ironic by the fact that Jesus Himself said, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel” (Matt. 15:24). Scripture clearly teaches that Jesus’ own people rejected Him, and not the other way around (John 1:11; Mark 12:1-12).

I write this post today simply because it is the Spirit of God within me compelling me to warn the people. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not very hard to understand, and even a child can comprehend it, if  their minds are not corrupted by false man-made teachings. What is it that is at stake here? It is the souls of men and women all over the world that is at stake. Any person who tells you that there are other ways to God (including living in light of the Torah) is preaching a BOGUS message and a BOGUS Gospel. We are dealing with eternal issues here, and that would include the Bibles teachings on Heaven and Hell. I close with two quotes from the Bible. The first from Jesus Christ Himself, and the second from the apostle Peter:

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:10-12)

If you read  the newspaper on a daily basis it will not be long before you read about the trouble over in the Middle East, and you will certainly read about modern day Israel. Jerusalem has been a city of much contention over the years, and we as Christians, have been taught that it belongs to modern day “Israel”, and that is the bottom line. If you disagree with that, then you will be in trouble, because the Jewish people are “God’s chosen people” and you risk being put under His curse. Millions of Christians have been put under that “bondage” because of their own Pastors or teachers who have been  under that same “bondage” for decades now. Millions of Christians have been mystified for years on end, by their leaders, some who do not realize that they have been duped themselves. Here is a great scripture to remember when the topic of Jerusalem comes up:

But ye are come unto mount SION [ZION], and unto the city of the living God, the HEAVENLY JERUSALEM, and to an innumerable company of ANGELS, (Hebrews 12:22)

The writer of Hebrews was exhorting the true believers to keep their eyes upon Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of their faith, and to remember the great cloud of witnesses (true believers) that had gone on before them. (Hebrews 12:1-2) It was an exhortation by the writer to keep going, and to throw off the weights (of this earthly world), and to keep the focus on the eternal things! That same writer contrasted the “earthly mountain” where Moses received the Ten Commandments, with the HEAVENLY Jerusalem which is above. That is the very key to cutting through the muck and mire of what is happening in the “Church World” today. A true Christian who has been born again of the Spirit, has had their name written above (in the book of Life), and thus they have ALREADY come to Mt Zion and the city of the LIVING God! The unbelieving Jewish people are ready to defend the EARTHLY Jerusalem over in the Middle East no matter what, and they have enticed, and seduced, millions of “Christians” to support them no matter what. The newspapers are filled with stories about the possibilities of Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon, but very few (and I mean very few) people realize that ISRAEL itself is in POSSESSION of probably hundreds of nuclear weapons. Here is an excerpt from the official USA Joint Operating Environment (JOE) report of 2008:

“Since 1998, India and Pakistan have created nuclear arsenals and delivery capabilities. North Korea has tested a nuclear weapon and has produced sufficient fissile material to create more such weapons. At present, the Iranians are pressing forward aggressively with their own nuclear weapons program. The confused reaction in the international community to Iran’s defiance of external demands to terminate its nuclear development programs is an incentive for others to follow in their path. In effect, there is a growing arc of  NUCLEAR POWERS running from ISRAEL in the west through an emerging Iran to Pakistan, India, and on to China, North Korea, and Russia in the east.” [Official JOINT OPERATING ENVIRONMENT [JOE] report, 2008, page 37]

I try to avoid being political, and I quote from this document (JOE) for the purpose of bringing this to the attention of believers who seek discernment. If you study the Bible and you know the heart of our gentle, kind and loving Saviour Jesus Christ, then you must know that the Lord is not for the destruction of mens souls. It is very easy for a “Christian” to get into the mentality that prophecy must be fulfilled, and we need to eliminate Iran before they get out of hand. I have written about  Pastor John Hagee and his call for an attack on Iran which is absolutely mind boggling. The question that you must ask yourself is this: What does this have to do with the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Are there not true born again Bible believing Christians living in Iran? Would it be a Godly thing to let loose an attack on Iran killing thousands (maybe millions)? Of course it works both ways here, and it is not Godly for Iran or any other country (including ours) to destroy human beings at the drop of a hat. The point that  make here is that true Christians are supposed to keep their eyes above, and focused on Jesus Christ. We are not supposed to join hands with the people of the “world” who reject Jesus Christ, because ultimately it will sink you and destroy your soul. There is a reason that the Jewish apostle Paul wrote this almost two thousand years ago:

Be ye not UNEQUALLY yoked together with UNBELIEVERS: for what FELLOWSHIP hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath CHRIST with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for YE are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the LORD, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the LORD ALMIGHTY. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)

True Christian righteousness (rooted in Jesus Christ) has nothing to do with the outward form of righteousness which the world portrays. True light which emanates from Jesus Christ, the “light of the world” (John 8:12), has nothing to do with the spiritual darkness, which emanates from Satan, the “god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4). Satan is the one who blinds the minds of people, to keep them from understanding “glorious Gospel of Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:4) There can be no “concord” (accordance) between Christ and Belial (an epithet of Satan)! True believers are already risen and sitting with Jesus Christ (Colossians 3:1-3)  in the “heavenly places” (Ephesians 2:6) and should have no part (according to Paul) with unbelievers. True believers are also called he Temple of God by Paul, and he tells us that we should have “no agreement” with idols!

The true patriarchs of the faith always had their eyes up above on the heavenly and not the earthly. People such as Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were not seeking an earthly country, but a Heavenly one!

These all died in FAITH, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and EMBRACED them, and CONFESSED that they were STRANGERS and PILGRIMS on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they SEEK a COUNTRY. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a BETTER COUNTRY, that is, an HEAVENLY: wherefore GOD is not ashamed to be called their GOD: for he hath PREPARED for them a CITY. (Hebrews 11:13-16)

God has prepared a heavenly country for the true believers who love His Son Jesus Christ, and every true believer recognizes that they are indeed “strangers and pilgrims on the earth”! True Christians should take great comfort out of those words that “God is not ashamed to be called their God”! The Lord God is watching over every true Christian that suffers in this evil world, and who experience the pain  and the suffering of being “alone”! I thank God for His mercy, and I thank God that he has opened up my “spiritual eyes” to this great deception of “Zionism” and many other dark things that have corrupted the modern day “church.”

Jesus answered, My kingdom is NOT of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the JEWS, and saith unto them, I find in him NO fault at all. (John 18:36-38)

This is another powerful passage of scripture that we have before us here. The Lord first of all told Pilate, that His Kingdom, was not of this world. Stop right there and meditate on that for a moment. Think of all of the nations of this world, and all of the bloody wars that have been fought over the centuries. Think of all of the proud and macho statements that have been made by the leaders of those same nations. Think of all of the millions that have been slain by those nations as they fought against each other. Then think about the statement that was made by the Lord, that His Kingdom was not of THIS world! It is quite obvious that the Kingdom that the Lord was  talking about was a SPIRITUAL Kingdom and not a PHYSICAL one.

That fits perfectly with what the Lord told the Jewish ruler Nicodemus who came to Him one night, obviously searching for truth. The Lord made it clear to that Jewish man that he needed to be born again. (John 3:1-8) The Lord made it clear to Nicodemus that his physical birth (of the flesh), was not the same as the spiritual birth (of the Spirit):

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (John 3:6-7)

There it is in plain and simple English. you must be born again! If you are reading this article the word for you today is that YOU must be born again! If you go back to the previous passage you will see that Jesus Christ said that the very purpose of his coming into this world, was to bear witness to the truth. Jesus came from above (Heaven) where He was with the Father, down to this earth to tell the world the truth. Therein is the key to understanding this whole Gospel and trying to understand whether or not YOU as an individual are in the truth or not. Listen again to what Jesus said there. He said that those who “were of the truth” would hear His voice. If a person is truly a seeker of truth, then the words of scripture, including the Old Covenant (Testament) books of Moses, the prophets and the Psalms will come alive to the individual person. That same person will know that the words of the scriptures (the Bible) are truth in what they speak regarding their own SINFULNESS, and their own need for salvation. That same seeker of truth will also understand and rejoice that the true God Almighty has made a provision for SALVATION in Jesus Christ the Son of God! That is how it was for me when I was born again over 20 years ago. It is quite obvious here that those people who disregard the words of Jesus Christ and do not believe that He is the only way of salvation, are NOT of the truth, no matter how much they may claim otherwise.

Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come. Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come. And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I AM he, ye shall die in your sins. (John 8:21-24)

The passage above is another passage that exposes the FALSE modern day Christian Zionist movement that has corrupted  the hearts of so many millions in these last days. The Jewish leaders and most of their followers rejected the Lord, along with the words that He spoke. The Lord knew that and therefore He told them that they would not be able to go where He was going. The Lord knew that He would be put to death with their consent,  but He also knew that He would RISE AGAIN from the dead, and ultimately return to Heaven to be with the Father! That is why the Lord told them that He was from above (Heaven) and that they were from beneath (and of this world)! They( the Jewish who rejected Him) were then told that they would DIE in their SINS, if they did NOT believe that He (Jesus) was who He said He was!

The teachings of Jesus Christ in these passages absolutely shatters the thinking of the modern day Christian Zionist who insists that the Jewish people are somehow God’s Chosen people. It is amazing to me that a person could read passages such as those above and still think that way. Those same people are ACTUALLY fighting against the Lord and His own words when they work hand in hand with the modern day Jewish leaders, in their defense of a PHYSICAL land of Israel. The Lord made it clear that it was NOT about this world, and that would include all of the Middle East. In fact the Lord went inside the Jewish Temple and started turning tables upside down because of their wicked ways, and their merchandising in the house of God! (Mark 11:17)  Not only that but the Lord Jesus Christ can be found contrasting the TRUE FAITH of the Gentile (non-Jewish) against the UNBELIEF of the Jew! (Luke 7:9)

One of the clearest passages of scripture that shows us that the Jewish people of yesterday and today, are not walking in TRUTH is the following:

And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath SENT, him ye believe NOT. Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which TESTIFY OF ME. And ye will NOT come to me, that ye might have life. (John 5:37-40)

These words which were spoken by Jesus Christ Himself are the telltale sign that the Jewish people were (and still are) most definitely on the wrong course in their opposition to Him. Jesus made it clear to them that they were opposing the Father, and the very God whom they say they served. Why? Because it was the Father who sent the Son, and they flat out rejected Him! Jesus got right to the heart of the matter when he spoke to them about their scriptures. The Jewish leaders took great pride in their “knowledge” of the scriptures, but they MISSED the whole point of the scriptures, in their rejection of Jesus Christ. Jesus flat out told them that the scriptures testified about Him, and that certainly is the case. The Old Covenant (Testament) is chock FULL of prophecies about the coming Christ, but they denied that they spoke of Him. They did not believe that the prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 53:1-12) spoke about the DEATH of Jesus Christ 700 years before it happened! They did not believe that the prophet Micah (Micah 5:2) prophesied of the birth of Christ hundreds of years before it happened! Their own pride would keep them outside of the Kingdom of God, and the ETERNAL LIFE which God promised those who would come to Him!

Fast forward now to the 21st Century and we have the “Christian Zionist” movement going full throttle in their defense of unbelieving Israel. It is the delusion of delusions! It is most incredible because the Jewish people still refuse to come to Jesus Christ, and they do not believe that He is the Son of God, nor the Messiah whom they are waiting for. People need to realize that almost 2000 years have passed since Christ walked this Earth, and that billions have been born and died during that period. The question is this: Do you believe that a single person, whether Jewish or Gentile, who lived during that time has entered Heaven without coming through Jesus Christ? If you answer YES, then you are clearly deceived, and know NOT the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You see the Gospel can NEVER change because the Lord would then be found to be a LIAR! The first coming of the Lord, including His birth and death, is the greatest event in human history, and it opened the way of salvation for every person in the world. If a person ignores that Gospel and simply chooses to go their own way, in their own “religion” then that is their own choice, but it is NOT God’s choice!

There is a spirit of anti-christ at work in the modern day “Christian” Zionism movement. That is why the apostle John warned us so many years ago, and he described it to us, so that we might understand it. It is unfortunate that so many sincere Christians are persuaded, and seduced by the colorful (and deceitful) ministries that are all over the Television today. Listen to John describe the Spirit of anti-Christ and then tell me if this does not describe the unbelieving Jewish people, (as well as all others) who refuse to believe that Christ (Messiah) has come!

Who is a LIAR but he that DENIETH that JESUS is the CHRIST (MESSIAH)? He is ANTICHRIST, that denieth the FATHER and the SON. (1 John 2:22)

The Jewish people do NOT believe that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah) and so they DENY the Father and the Son!

And every spirit that confesseth NOT that JESUS CHRIST is come in the flesh is NOT of GOD: and this is that spirit of ANTICHRIST, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (1 John 4:3)

The Jewish people do NOT believe that Jesus Christ (Messiah) has come in the flesh, and therefore they are NOT of GOD!

For many DECEIVERS are entered into the world, who confess NOT that JESUS CHRIST is come in the flesh. This is a DECEIVER and an ANTICHRIST. (2 John 1:7)

The Jewish people do NOT confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, and  therefore qualify as DECEIVERS!

The modern day “Christian” Zionist has joined hands with the spirit of antichrist in working hand in hand with those who still refuse to humble themselves and  repent and believe the Gospel. The last word to the people of the world was given by Jesus Christ after He rose again from the dead and we find that in the Gospel of Luke:

And as they thus spake, JESUS himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And he took it, and did eat before them. And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be FULFILLED, which were written in the law of MOSES, and in the PROPHETS, and in the PSALMS, concerning ME. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved CHRIST to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at JERUSALEM. (Luke 24:36-47)

That is all you need to know and the decision is totally up to you, whether you are a Christian or a searcher of truth. You can CHOOSE to follow the FALSE teachers and join hands with the decieved or you can count the cost (Luke 14:25-33) and follow Jesus Christ, the one who is THE TRUTH! I suggest that you take the latter option and follow Jesus Christ no matter what. You may lose some “friends” but that is a lot better than losing your own soul.

If you take a look at the Vatican you will learn that the Vatican is a political religious system with the Holy See recognized as the official State, with the Pope in charge and they even have their own military, the Swiss Guard!  When the Pope visits any other country, the whole world is put on notice. There are red carpet treatments wherever he goes, with millions spent on security. Where is all of this stuff in the Bible, and what does it have to do with Jesus Christ? Out of this very center of religious deception flows forth rivers of man-made doctrines which have poisoned the souls of men for centuries. Over the centuries there have been multitudes who have been tortured and slain in fighting against the doctrines of Rome, with many being laid to the flames. One of the first books that I read after I got saved was Foxe’s Book Of Martyrs by John Foxe. That book should be on the required reading list of every true born again believer in Jesus Christ. What a blessing that book has been to me in my life as a Christian. Why? Because it contains the true stories of faithful Christians who took a stand against the false teachings of Rome! They stood against such doctrines as transubstantiation, which teaches that a Roman Catholic Priest (and him alone) has the power to change the bread (wafer) and wine into the ACTUAL body of Jesus Christ! They stood against the teaching of Purgatory, which is one of the most wicked teachings on planet earth! To this very day there are millions of precious Roman Catholics who will have Catholic Masses “said” for their loved ones in Purgatory, hoping that they will eventually gain Heaven. They also stood against the doctrine that the Pope is the head of the church. Listen to these faithful words of John Huss before he was killed for his stand against Rome:

“Not the Pope, but Christ only, is the head; and not the Cardinals, but all Christ’s faithful people, be the body of the Catholic Church. If the Pope be reprobate, it is plain that he is no head, no nor member even, of the Holy Church of God, but of the devil and his synagogue. Neither is it true, that we ought to stand in all things to the determination of the Pope and of the Cardinals, but so far forth as they do agree with the Holy Scripture of the Old and New Testament.” [Foxes Book Of Martyrs, John Foxe, Whitaker House, page 95]

Can you imagine your Pastor reading something like that from your pulpit on Sunday?  Do you think that the Promise Keepers movement which is led by Bill McCartney, would allow an ex-Catholic to testify at one of their meetings, of how the Lord delivered them from the false system of Roman Catholicism? How about if that same person warned the Roman Catholics attending that they should leave their church also?  I am not trying to be funny here but I am simply preaching what the Lord put on my heart.

We must not forget the people such as Martin Luther, who became enraged at people such as John Tetzel, who sold indulgences for Rome, which raised the money to build St Peter’s Basilica, which still stands in Rome today! John Tetzel preyed upon the poor Roman Catholic people and sold them indulgences, so that their loved ones could be set free from the non existent place called Purgatory! John Tetzel would carry a money chest with him with the following inscription written across it:

“As soon as the coin in the coffer rings, the soul from purgatory springs” [Catholic Encyclopedia]

That should break your heart if you are a true born again, Holy Spirit filled Christian. You may say, well that was a long time ago, and they do not sell indulgences any more. The Roman Catholic Church may not sell indulgences (but they still have indulgences), and they still offer Mass cards (for donations) for Masses to be said for “loved ones” in Purgatory. When I was younger the mass cards cost (donation) one dollar for a plain one, and five dollars for a fancy one with an image in a nice vinyl case. What difference does it make if a person is being deceived by indulgences or Mass Cards? Both of them give the false impression that there is a Purgatory, another place other than the Heaven and Hell which Jesus Christ preached about! I call that apostasy and I call that a false Gospel!

What is even more frightening is that we are living in a day when there are even more false doctrines in Roman Catholicism then there were in the time of the Protestant Reformation. The doctrine of Papal Infallibility was not official dogma until 1870! The doctrine of the Immaculate Conception (of Mary!) was not official dogma until 1854 The doctrine of Mary’s Assumption into Heaven was not official dogma until November 1, 1950! So there you have three, yes three more false doctrines since the time of the Reformation and what is the church doing about that? We ought to be ashamed of ourselves! Not only that but listen to what Paul Crouch has to say regarding this topic of Rome:

“Protestantism has come to an end. I am eradicating the word Protestant even out of my vocabulary. I am not protesting anything anymore. It is time for Catholics and non-Catholics to come together as one in the Spirit and one in the Lord”

Sorry Paul, but the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth, (John 16:13) and He does not desire any true born again Christian, to join hands with any system that preaches a false Gospel. In fact it was the Holy Spirit who quickly moved me out of the Roman Catholic Church.. Not only that, but we have a Bible today in the hands of the common people because of faithful men and women who stood against Rome. I would like to say this. I believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and I do not believe for one second that those gifts have ceased as some teach today. Not only that but I believe that it is absolutely insane to think that the gifts of the Spirit, have ceased. As long as the Holy Spirit is in the world there will be the gifts of the Holy Spirit!  But I must also say this. The modern day church has been duped by the likes of the Roman Catholic Charismatic movement because it is still Roman Catholic. I know because I came out of that very movement. I attended Roman Catholic healing masses for close to three years, and they sing the same songs that are sung in Pentecostal churches today, and that is why they meet such little resistance from the modern day church. I have witnessed hundreds upon hundreds of people who were “slain in the Spirit” while hundreds (including myself) prayed the rosary (on our rosary beads) over and over again! The modern day Church has been convinced by their “anointed” leaders that Rome is not so bad. Does that not sound so much like the Devil himself?

I attended a large church in Manhattan for several years and one day my wife and I met a woman in the church lobby who was about the same age as us. We had a long talk with her, and she shared some things about the different Christian meetings that she had gone to over the years. I do not remember much about the original conversation, but we happened to meet her again about a year later standing in the same church lobby. She told us that she had hooked up with some Roman Catholic Charismatic ladies and that they had been meeting together. I looked her right in the eye and I told the woman to be careful, because the Catholic charismatics are still heavy into praying to Mary, and I also told her that that Roman Catholic Charismatic movement was very deceptive. The woman froze, and then she told me that she felt sick (her words) because she was already regularly praying the rosary with them at their request! I know a divine appointment when I see one! My God is faithful, and My Lord is so awesome to watch over his people!

That is the reason that I still write about the great deception of Roman Catholicism. I am not impressed by the Pastors and preachers of today who claim the “anointing” of God, while they rake in millions and fail to warn the people about this false system. I am not impressed with the likes of Benny Hinn who seeks the “anointing” from the bones of Kathryn Kuhlman at her grave, as he brings his “huff and puff gospel” to the multitudes. I have read many articles that said that Kathryn Kuhlman would often have many Roman Catholic Priests up on the stage with her! You can all it the “anointing” if you like, but I call it SPIRITISM! You call it revival if you like but I call it FALSE UNITY!  I choose to follow the Lord Jesus Christ and the Word of God that rails against such apostasy!  I choose to remember the faithful men, and women of God who stood against Rome, and thus enabled millions of lost wretched souls such as myself, to have the opportunity to know Jesus Christ! I am absolutely convinced that many of the biggest names in “Christianity” have been seduced by the system known as Roman Catholicism, many of whom are still praised and applauded as great “men and women of God” despite their apostasy! That is why I write so much about the false system of Roman Catholicism.

This is a very serious issue because without the new birth there can be NO Heaven. Did you know that the Bible makes it very clear that you must be born again? Who said that? Jesus said that and he was talking to a Jewish ruler by the name of Nicodemus when he told him that. You can read it for yourself right here:

There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from GOD: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except GOD be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be BORN AGAIN, he CANNOT see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the FLESH is FLESH; and that which is born of the SPIRIT is SPIRIT. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye MUST be BORN AGAIN. The wind bloweth where it listeth (wishes), and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the SPIRIT. (John 3:1-8)

Jesus Christ did not mince words when he spoke with Nicodemus, because the Lord was not impressed with rulers of any sort, religious or otherwise. Nicodemus had no idea what the Lord Jesus Christ was talking about because he was thinking in the natural, and not the spiritual. Nicodemus needed the illumination which can only come from the Spirit of God, and that is why the Lord told him that he must be born again. There are many professing Christians who will combat the teaching of the new birth, and thus they come against the teaching of Jesus Christ himself. There is a very good chance that they are religious but LOST because they have NEVER been born again themselves! John Wesley was a missionary for many years BUT he was NOT saved until many years later. I have known many who have even preached about the GRACE of God, BUT they have been taught (brainwashed) into believing that EVANGELISM is NOT for us today. There is an EXCELLENT chance that they have NEVER been born again either, BECAUSE any person who has been truly born again of the SPIRIT, knows that they are surrounded by UNSAVED friends, and family members who need the HOLY SPIRIT!

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which GOD hath prepared for them that LOVE him. But GOD hath revealed them unto US by his SPIRIT: for the SPIRIT searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of GOD. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of GOD knoweth no man, but the SPIRIT OF GOD. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the SPIRIT which is of GOD; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of GOD. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the HOLY GHOST teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the SPIRIT OF GOD: for they are FOOLISHNESS unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (1 Corinthians 2:9-14)

Billions of people in the world are still under the impression that they are good people on the way to Heaven, and have no idea whatsoever that they are on the way to Hell. I know that because I used to be one of them. I was a religious Roman Catholic but I did not know the REAL Jesus Christ UNTIL I was born again in 1989. In fact the Catholic church taught me that I was born again when I was baptized as a little baby, but that is one of the biggest lies in the universe.

A Jewish person who has never been born again is as lost as any other person in the world. A Muslim person who has never been born again is as lost as any other person in the world. A Buddhist person who has never been born again is as lost as any person in the world. A Hindu person in the world who has never been born again is as lost as any other person in the world.

Jesus Christ declared that he was the only way of salvation.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

The Jewish apostle Paul said this:

Therefore if any man be in CHRIST, he is a NEW creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

The Jewish apostle Peter said this:

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of ISRAEL, that by the name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth, whom ye CRUCIFIED, whom GOD raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is NONE other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be SAVED. (Acts 4:10-12)

After Jesus Christ rose from the dead he told his followers to preach the Gospel to everybody. He also told them that the BELIEVERS would be SAVED, and that the UNBELIEVERS would be DAMNED! There is nothing more LOVING than warning your fellow men and women that they will be DAMNED without Jesus Christ!

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Mark 16:15-16)

Do not put it off until tomorrow, because you are not promised tomorrow.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Hebrews 9:27)

Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. (Proverbs 27:1)

Here is the REAL DEAL folks!

You are a SINNER in need of SALVATION!

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23)

If YOU die without FAITH in Jesus Christ YOU will die in YOUR own sins and end up in HELL!

I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. (John 8:24)

Salvation CANNOT be earned by your OWN good works and good deeds! That is called SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS but you need nothing less than the RIGHTEOUSNESS of Jesus Christ to enter Heaven!

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

NOT BY WORKS of righteousness which WE have DONE, but according to his MERCY  he SAVED us, by the washing of REGENERATION, and renewing of the HOLY GHOST; (Titus 3:5)

Have you been regenerated by the HOLY GHOST (Spirit) yet? If NOT, then you are still SPIRITUALLY DEAD in YOUR sins as you read this article. But there is no need to despair BECAUSE  the Lord will GIVE you the GIFT of salvation when you repent and believe the gospel (Mark 1:15) You will then be REGENERATED by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT (Ghost), the very same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead! That is the GOOD NEWS of salvation in Jesus Christ! All are invited!

For WHOSOEVER shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be SAVED. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a PREACHER? (Romans 10:13-14)

And as it is APPOINTED unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Hebrews 9:27)

Have you ever given place to the thought, that you may not have long to live?

Do you realize that there is a possibility that you could even die before this day is over?

It is true that we are not promised even another day, and the very breath that we breathe is on loan to us.

Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. (Proverbs 27:1)

The most important thing for any human being to know is where they are going to spend eternity, and that is what I want to talk with you about right now.

Do you know where you are going after you die?

Do you realize that you will spend eternity in one of two places, either HEAVEN or HELL

Maybe this is something that you have wondered about, but you are not completely sure whether this whole thing about the AFTERLIFE is true.

I also used to wonder about these things, until I was born again back in 1989. You can read my testimony HERE if you desire, but let’s get back to God’s plan of salvation for you.

The devil is referred to as “the god of this world” in the following passage:

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (2 Corinthians 4:3-4)

Do you see that?

The devil [the 'god of this world'] is declared to be the one who blinds the minds of lost souls, because he does not want them to believe the gospel of Jesus Christ, which can save their soul.

The devil does not want you, or anybody else, including your closest loved ones, your sons and daughters, your wives and husbands and your closest friends to understand the good news about Jesus Christ.

There are many things that will keep you occupied in this life, and trying to make ends meet can be a daily struggle for many people. On the other end there are people who do not struggle with their finances, and they seem determined to make even more money as they go through this life. But once again we come back to the ultimate question of where a person is going to spend eternity. You see all the money in the world cannot buy salvation. Jesus Himself said this:

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Mark 8:36-37)

Think about those words for a moment. Suppose you could inherit all the money you could possible imagine, drive the best cars, eat at the best restaurants, travel to the most exotic places in the world, and at the end of your life you end up dying in your sins, and end up in Hell!

Is it worth it? Come on tell me is it worth it to lose your soul and spend eternity in Hell for a few minutes of pleasure in this temporary life?

A preacher once declared that “most people sell their souls for a bag of popcorn”, and he was right on with that statement.

The Devil Wants To Hide This From You!

The Bible lets us know that each and every one of us is a sinner, and YOU need to know that, before you can SEE your need for salvation.

Many [if not most] people look at themselves as basically “good people” who mind their own business, and they expect to be alright with God, if in fact, there is some kind of a judgment in eternity.

They envision the eternal “scales of justice” being held up, and they are confident that their “good deeds” will outweigh their “bad deeds” and they hope to enter Heaven after they die.

The devil is very happy with that type of thinking and mindset, and if you are thinking along those lines, then you are as deceived as I was for thirty six years of my life. The devil is a LIAR but the LORD is a God of TRUTH!

This is what the BIBLE has to say about the salvation of YOUR soul, and you can take God at His word on this.

As it is written, There is NONE righteous, no, NOT ONE: (Romans 3:10)

Did you read that? The scripture tells us that there are NONE who can make the claim to being righteous, in and of themselves!.

That means that you could travel the world, from the USA to England, to Africa, to Australia to Europe and every other part of the earth and you will not find ONE person who can be declared righteous in the sight of God.

For ALL have SINNED, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23)

Once again we learn that ALL people can lay claim to the title of SINNER.

If you do a lot of traveling around the world, then you probably get to hear a lot of people, talking in all sorts of different languages, but you ALL have one thing in common, and that is the fact that you are ALL sinners.

Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that EVERY MOUTH may be stopped, and all the world may become GUILTY before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. (Romans 3:19-20)

If we were to stand in the courtroom of God, and be judged according to the Ten Commandments, EACH and EVERY ONE of us would be be found GUILTY before Almighty God.

The Bible tells us that the Law of God stops [silences] the mouth of every single person from justifying themselves before a Holy and righteous God. The Ten Commandments warn us about the worship of false ‘gods’ [1] making and worshiping graven images, (idols) [2] killing [6] ,adultery [7] and coveting our neighbors possessions [10] just to mention a few of them. [Read Exodus 20]

None of us are righteous in the sight of God, in and of ourselves.

God forbid: yea, let God be true, but EVERY MAN A LIAR; as it is written . . . (Romans 3:4)

  SO WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES OF BEING SINNER?

 For the wages of sin is DEATH . . . (Romans 6:23)

The Bible declares that YOU have earned the wages of SIN which is DEATH.

Yes, I realize that you are physically alive right now, but the scripture is talking about SPIRITUAL death here also.

If you have never come to salvation in Jesus Christ, then YOU are spiritually dead right now according to the scriptures, and in the sight of God.

Your physical death is sure to follow and that may be soon for you, or it may be many years away, but it is going to happen.

The Lord wants you to see your own condition the way He sees it. Each and every one of us is nothing but a WRETCH outside the love and mercy of God.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately WICKED: who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9)

The human heart is so deceitful and wicked, that it will cause a person to continue to live their life, without seeking the help and counsel from God, that is so desperately needed.

Have you seen your need for salvation yet?

Great Hope For ALL Sinners (You Too!)

So what can a person do, once they see their spiritual condition in truth?

But GOD commendeth his LOVE toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, CHRIST DIED FOR US. Much more then, being now JUSTIFIED BY HIS BLOOD, we shall be SAVED from wrath through HIM. (Romans 5:8-9)

Perhaps you have heard all of this before, but maybe you did not quite understand it.

 The person that we know as Jesus Christ was sent from the Father above, to this earth to REDEEM you and RECONCILE you back to GOD!In plain and simple language. JESUS CHRIST died as a SUBSTITUTE in your place!

There was a reason for the BLOOD which was shed upon that cross by Jesus Christ so many years ago.

Every animal sacrifice in the Old Testament was a mere type and shadow of the GREATEST SACRIFICE ever made.

The one thing that you need to know, is that Jesus Christ knew all along that He was going to be butchered upon that CROSS.

The prophet Isaiah even prophesied about the DEATH of JESUS CHRIST approximately 700 years before it happened!

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne OUR GRIEFS, and carried OUR SORROWS: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for OUR TRANGRESSIONS, he was bruised for OUR INIQUITIES: the chastisement of our peace was upon HIM; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the INIQUITY OF US ALL. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a LAMB to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb [silent], so he openeth not his mouth. (Isaiah 53:3-7)

The Bible records the following:

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the LAMB OF GOD which taketh away the SIN of the world.
(John 1:29)

John the Baptist was speaking under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit when he made that statement. he knew that Jesus was the one sent from God to redeem the world. The Bible tells us that BLOOD is necessary for the atonement of the soul.

For the life of the flesh is in the BLOOD: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the BLOOD that maketh an atonement for the soul. (Leviticus 17:11)

Did you catch that? The LIFE of the flesh is in the BLOOD.

If a person is involved in an automobile accident and they lose a lot of BLOOD, it is often referred to as a LIFE threatening injury because the BLOOD is necessary to live. That is why the emergency personnel will seek to get the person to the hospital as soon as possible before they die,

Jesus went to the cross willingly as the Lamb of God, knowing full well that HIS BLOOD would be shed for the sake of all the lost souls in the world. That is the absolute example of TRUE LOVE is it not? Jesus said this:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be SAVED. He that believeth on him is NOT CONDEMNED but he that believeth not is CONDEMNED ALREADY, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten SON OF GOD. (John 3:16-18)

Jesus spoke about the LOVE of God and yet He did not mince words in telling the people that a person was already condemned, if they did not believe in Him. Jesus was put to DEATH upon the cross but it did not end there. That very same Jesus rose from the dead.

And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And he took it, and did eat before them. And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, CONCERNING ME. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved CHRIST to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name AMONG ALL NATIONS beginning at JERUSALEM. (Luke 24:36-47)

The followers of Jesus Christ were terrified when they first set their eyes upon the risen Christ, until they realized that this was the very same Jesus who walked with them, and taught them for over three years.

The Lord made a point of sharing a meal with them and He also encouraged them to examine His wounds from the cross, to show them that it was indeed Him. Hallelujah to the Lamb of God!

The Lord also made a point of telling His followers that the scriptures prophesied of these things concerning Himself.

He spoke about how Moses and the prophets and the psalms spoke about all of these things, and then he told His followers to go and preach repentance and forgiveness of sins in His name, beginning at Jerusalem.

So that is the plan of salvation for you my friend. The Lord Jesus Christ said this ”… repent and believe the Gospel…” [Mark 1:15]

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be SAVED; but he that believeth not shall be DAMNED (Mark 16:15-16)

He that believeth on the Son hath EVERLASTING LIFE: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the WRATH OF GOD abideth on him. (John 3:36)

For there is NO DIFFERENCE between the JEW and the GREEK [Gentile]: for the same LORD over ALL is rich unto ALL that call upon HIM For WHOSOEVER shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be SAVED. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a PREACHER? (Romans 10:12-14)

There is only ONE plan of salvation and that is found in Jesus Christ. That includes both Jewish and Gentile people all over the world.

If YOU Miss THIS, Then YOU Miss Everything!

Jesus declared that He was the ONLY way and the scriptures declare the very same thing!

Jesus saith unto him, I AM the way, the truth, and the life: NO MAN cometh unto the Father, BUT BY ME. (John 14:6)

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of ISRAEL, that by the name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is NONE OTHER NAME under heaven given among men, whereby we must be SAVED. (Acts 4:10-12)

‘How often have you heard the Jewish people described as God’s ‘chosen people’? Probably so often that you have never even questioned it. It is so ingrained that to deny it is often seen as evidence of anti-Semitism. As is the assumption that God blesses and curses nations on the basis of how they treat Israel-which is sometimes used as a threat. This view goes back to Genesis 12:3. Jerry Falwell, for example, says God is blessing America because America has been kind to the Jew. He claims God ‘will bless those who bless the Jews and curse whoever curses the Jews’. That is why Christians United For Israel conducts ‘A Night To Honor Israel’ in as many cities as possible, so that God will continue to bless America and Canada.’

‘It may surprise you to discover that the New Testament never uses the term ‘chosen’ to describe the Jewish people. It is used only of those who follow Jesus. Does that mean God has two separate ‘chosen people’? Some like to think so. They are usually called ‘dispensationalists’, and this is a popular viewpoint among evangelicals in the United States.’ [Zion’s Christian Soldiers, by Stephen Sizer, page 40, by Inter Varsity Press, 2007]

The quotes above explain the situation regarding Israel so well and I know it to be true. I have listened to enough ‘Christian’ radio and television preachers as well as Pastors in the pulpit, and that is the message that you will hear. I have heard the term ‘Israel is God’s timepiece’ quoted by a Pastor, and he was simply quoting what ‘Sister Basilea Schlink,’ a nun in the Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary, (is it a cult?) had taught him. This type of teaching regarding Israel, is very mainstream in the modern day church and it has had an enormous influence on  church people. Most people who sit in Churches will never question their Pastors because they believe that God has called them, anointed them, and they can do no wrong. They surely do not want to be considered a rebel within their own congregation. As a new Christian when I heard the teachings about Israel, and the prophecies about their return to the land, I too, never really searched deep enough, because I believed the ‘prophecy teachers’ surely knew a lot more about those things then I did. I knew all along that the Jewish people needed Jesus Christ just like the rest of us, but the teachings on the prophecies and other things, I left to the ‘experts’and I thought that they knew what they were talking about. I did not really search out any opposing opinions until several years ago.

As I look back though, I can remember getting many a ‘check’ in my Spirit, as I would listen to other Christians talk about he Jewish people, almost as if, they (the Jewish people) did not need to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. It was almost as if they (the Jewish people) were alright just the way they were. I can remember listening to a radio teacher early on Sunday mornings, and I would hear him quote the scriptures, including passages from the book of Romans regarding the grace of God, and I would say amen. Then one day I heard that same preacher say something about the apostle Paul as being the only apostle that had the ‘mystery’ revealed to him, and he contrasted Paul’s Gospel with the rest of the apostles of Jesus Christ, and I said huh? What on earth is this guy talking about? Little did I know at the time, but I was listening to a classic dispensationalist teacher, that is sometimes hard to discern because of the mixture with truth.

‘John Nelson Darby, one of the founders of the Brethren movement, along with Cyrus Scofield, through his Scofield Reference Bible, popularized the novel idea that God has two separate plans-one being fulfilled through the church, the other through Israel.’

‘Lewis Sperry Chafer, one of Scofield’s students, elaborates on this alleged dichotomy between Israel and the Church:

‘The dispensationalist, believes that throughout the ages God is pursuing two distinct purposes: one related to the earth with earthly people and earthly objectives involved which is Judaism; while the other is related to heaven with heavenly people and heavenly objectives which is Christianity . . . I was truly not aware of the details of this type of teaching, and so I started to read more about what they taught, and I could not believe it. This teaching sounds like spiritual insanity to me. This truly shows us how the false teachers along with their demonic doctrines, are able to infiltrate the church. It is a mixture of error along with truth, and if a person is not seeking to discern truth from error, it is extremely easy to be deceived. If that person being deceived is a Pastor (and that often is the case), then he (or she) will simply teach their people (sometimes thousands) the very same demonic doctrines that he (or she) has learned and accepted.

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. (2 Timothy 3:12-13)

Stephen Sizer goes on to write in his book the following:

If you imagine the way railway lines run parallel but never meet, that is how many dispensationalists believe Israel and the church remain separate.

This leads John Hagee, for example, to a novel interpretation of Genesis 22, where God promises Abraham, I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore.’ (Genesis 22:17)

‘Stars are heavenly, not earthly. They represent the church, spiritual Israel. The ‘sand on the shore’ on the other hand is earthly and represents an earthly kingdom with a literal Jerusalem as the capital city. Both stars and sand exist at the same time, and neither ever replaces the other. Just so, the nation of Israel and spiritual Israel, the church, exist at the same time and do not replace each other.’

However, Hagee’s colourful interpretation doesn’t quite fit with the way Scripture interprets Scripture. Around 430 BC Nehemiah thanked God that the promise made to Abraham had already been fulfilled.

‘You made their children as numerous as the stars in the sky’ (Nehemiah 9:23)

Notice Nehemiah likens the JEWS, not GENTILES, to the STARS in the sky. Maybe they are the sand not the stars . . .

There is absolutely no difference between the Jew and the Gentile (all nations) in the sight of Almighty God. In the passage below the apostle Peter made that ever so clear to the early church:

And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the GENTILES by my mouth should hear the WORD of the GOSPEL, and BELIEVE. And GOD, which knoweth the HEARTS, bare them witness, giving them the HOLY GHOST, even as he did unto us; And put NO DIFFERENCE between US and THEM, purifying their hearts BY FAITH. Now therefore why tempt ye GOD, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? But we believe that through the GRACE of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be SAVED, even as THEY. (Acts 15:7-11)

A person is either with Christ or they are against Christ. A person is either in the Kingdom of God or they are not. A person is either SAVED and HEAVENBOUND or UNSAVED and HELLBOUND! The Bible passage above makes it very clear that a person has their heart purified by faith in Jesus Christ. If God, who knows the hearts, puts no difference between the Jew and the Gentile, then why would anybody want to follow the false teachers and false prophets who claim that God has two different plans, for two different peoples? The New Covenant (Testament) makes it so clear to us that there is no difference between Jew and Gentile. (Galatians 3:28, Colossians 3:11)

Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past GENTILES in the flesh, who are called UNCIRCUMCISION by that which is called the CIRCUMCISION in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without CHRIST, being ALIENS from the commonwealth of ISRAEL, and STRANGERS from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But NOW in CHRIST JESUS  ye who sometimes were FAR OFF are made NIGH by the BLOOD OF CHRIST.(Ephesians 2:11-13)

The ‘commonwealth of Israel’ is made up only of those (Jewish and Gentile believers in Christ) who have been made near by the blood of Jesus Christ. Yes, there are indeed two groups of people in the sight of God, and those two groups are the SAVED and the UNSAVED. The Gospel call to salvation has been going forth for centuries now, and many have received Jesus Christ (John 1:11-12) but most continue to reject Jesus Christ and HIS Gospel, and you can find people from both of those groups in EVERY NATION in the entire world!
